me and the ol lady have been talking about moving to cali near the san fran area. (not the city, just the area) im looking for some insight on some locations that are crawler friendly but still within a decent commute to the city for work. looking for a low crime area (as low as it can get). being that im in phoenix im sure it cant get much worse. what clubs are out this way? i see a few concord guys. who else reps this area as there stomping ground? |

I would stay away form the city concord is the closest I would live to the city thats just my .02 I live in Vacaville and work in Oakland its a 45 min cumute and a 5 dollor bridge toll ( bay bridge is 6 dollors on peak hours). As far as clubs go there alot NVCRCC NBRCC CCRC to name a few.Between sacramento and San Francisco if you want to drive you could comp every day of the week. Crawling is a big sceen around here lots of good people lots of awsome hobby shops with all the crawler parts you need! and lots of rocks! James |

Hello Robbio the NBRCC is a great club in sonoma county (Sonoma County Crawlers thread). Good bunch of guys and huge turn-outs at comps. Im in Santa Rosa about 1hr north of San Fran. Hope to see you soon and good luck on the move.

You won't be disappointed with the crawler scene in the bayarrhea. Hobbytown Concord caters to the crawler guys and has just about everything you would ever need, if they don't, they will get it quick. We also have some really good drivers, great people, and awesome crawl spots. Let us know when you're coming out. |

Vacaville here... I believe its the best of all worlds. Good population but not to crowded. hour drive to the ocean, and hour drive to the snow. Plus we got a few bad ass tattoo artist here. Davis is not bad either but they're a bunch of tree huggers there.

robbio, I grew up in the San Ramon valley (Alamo to be exact) and it's a nice area, albeit a little expensive. I think the crime rate is pretty low, too. Maybe look around the Walnut Creek, Alamo, Danville, San Ramon area |

| Nice area, I grew up on the border of Alamo and Walnut Creek, right next door to Alamo school at the top of Livorna rd.

My family has lived in Alamo (same house) for over 100 years. I really like that area and look forward to moving back there someday | |

I didn't. I got booted out in my sophomore year for telling the principal to go andhimself, among other things I guess that was 1987 or 88. I ended up going to Del Amigo (what a joke that was). |

I went to Del also, but for my junior year. Was Marlowe the Principal when you were there?

The tri valley area is expensive as hell. Crimes low but the people are snobby. You can pretty much drive 30 mins from wherever you live in the bay and have some really good spots to crawl.
