Bay Area Crawl spots

Hey guys,

I am looking for more areas to crawl around my house and have found this cool site. http://www.bahiker.com/

Check it out and do a little research in your area and if you find a cool spot that is local to you then post some pics of it so we can change up the locations to make it easier for everyone. It would be cool to get a listing of good crawl spots for the Nor-cal crawler site.

Not only that, but you might find a kick ass park that is real close to you.

I can't believe this thread got not a single response in 1 year. :?

Well I am on a mission again to find more crawl locations for us in Nor-Cal using Google Earth. I am just browsing around at a high altitude until I see something that resembles rocks then I zoom in.

Here is a potential crawl spot in Milpitas. I need to find out what this place is and if it is open to the public.

If you find something in your area (Nor-Cal) post it up here.

Click here to download the Google Earth place mark for this location.

That is a killer search idea, never used that one before. Problem for me is, there are mt's and rocks on the whole state I live in! Oh well, I will start looking at the local parks and FS stuff. But for now, I am crawling alone, no one in MT has spoken up yet. I'll keep looking.

My bad, just downloaded google Earth. This location is in Fremont off of Scotts Valley road and 680. It looks private property. I live in Milpitas and trying to find something close.

Here are a few pics of a spot i found close to the dam at lake berryessa. It's around a 1/8 mile or alittle longer dry river bed.

Niles Canyon has a pretty decent spot about half way through it in fremont. Back in the day they used to go wheelin back there......plenty of parking and plenty of rocks to crawl

BLK6.0HD, that place looks awsome. I would be down to go there one of these weekends.

NorCal 2500HD, Can you take pictures of the crawl spot? If not, can you post up directions and I will go check it out with my camera.

Let me know when you want to check it out. I sent those pics to Sam before posting them here. There is enough there to play for the day and plenty of parking for a event. Camping is also just down the road and your next to a river for fishing. There is also rockville park up here which has some good spots to crawl for either a trail ride or event.
