Default Fremont area?

I'm heading to Fremont the 14th through the 17th for work. Is there any place in the area to take my crawlers after work? I know it's a pretty packed area, but there's got to be a few members here that know the area.

Your best bet for the Fremont area is Niles canyon. You can hike upstream on the trail or crawl the rip rap there at the parking lot. North of Fremont we have rock city on Mt Diablo and a waterfall in San Ramon at the top of Bollinger canyon rd but you don't want to drive there during commute time. Probably take you an hour +

Im pretty sure that Sheldons Hobby's in San Jose would be the closest. Its about 15 - 20 min south of Fremont.

Check out Coyote Hills regional park "old quarry" by the Dumbarton Bridge. It's kind of small and loose but there is a big rock that's kinda fun to crawl around on. I think it's $5 to get in at the self serve kiosk.
