Serves me right for not carrying the scaler in the car regularly! Didn't even end up buying a car either, double damn!!

Was it fun? Are there good areas? I've walked around before but never paid attention to potential crawler areas since it was before RCs for me, always thought it was kinda overgrown at least looking in from the street.
Double damn! Haha I like that! Its great place to run, offer grown on some or alot of areas but very cool...I got a major migraine yesterday so I couldn't make it

nope, i don't think so -- been busy changing diapers had a boy in june, so literally no free time to get out and do anything these days. initially i thought there would be free time to work on RCs while the kid sleeps....hahahahaha yeah right i'll probably be able to get out with all you guys after a few more months when the kid's easier to handle by myself for a few hours, or leave him with mom i guess.

in the meantime, i'm getting very close to being able to cast my Cruiser body, so when i'm out again i'll most likely have completed a one-off scaler to show off. i could pretty much cast it as-is and all would be good, but I want it looking even better before i take a mold of it with the Smooth-On casting products I bought last week from Douglas & Sturgess

I need it to run on my rig, I just finished piecing together a scx10 and got a Hilux cab but don't have the pashents to build it right now, been looking around at the local shops and they have nothing in stock.

I have the old honcho body laying around. What kinda rear suspension are you running? I would have to put the bed piece back in it if you run the stock set up. When do you need it?

yes, it looks like Folsom Point. don't know why no one plays there anymore. with the water as low as it is i feel this is the best "scale" area on all of the lake.

after the pay booth take the road to the right and follow it till it ends. walk towards the lake. you will be south of the main lot and boat launch. we use to meet at the taco bell at natoma and green valley and carpool through the gate to save some bucks. have fun if you go.
