I was suprised how big they are, but the tread pattern has been proven to work, so with the compound, it should be a great tire.

Rumor has it that these two items are highly recommended for the G6 challenges If you can't see, that's a pull pal and winch in the picture I've read other posts on pull pal threads asking what is a pull pal? Google before posting please

sorry for the small picture, too lazy to hook up the blackberry to the laptop yada yada yada. Android next week or two, maybe I can do everything from my phone

Hey Jason, a local makes them or you can always check the vendor section http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/scale-parts/
for any custom stuff.

in the first G6 i used my winch and pull pal probably 10 times. i could use it all i wanted for no penalty, if you had to use the judges winch it was 3 min. penalty. i never used it for 3 minutes but it still cost me time from driving stupid and not using it instead of hitting a gate. we were allowed a screwdriver to stick in the ground as an anchor point and your stage buddy would help hold it while you drive.

PRACTICE righting yourself from the side and when it's upside down, i still haven't figured out how i got off of my roof but i did. i think a snatch block would help with this. again PRACTICE some more.

R2J KUSTOMS in the vendor section makes the pull pal i bought and i thought for 12 bucks they were worth it and got 2 in case it broke. i don't think it will break after useing it, but glad i have a spare. i think his is welded and don't know if brazing would hold up

i bought some Beadalon 49 strand wire at michaels to replace the stock winch cable. i put all 10 ft of .024 dia on my winch no problem check this stuff out.

Yeah, Shon does some nice work. Had one of his tubers. I got some spiderwire and looks fine. 50lb test so I'm sure the winch will go out before breaking the line. I wanted a pull pal that somewhat folded so went with thumper68's recovery kit which includes a snatch block but it didn't come with the rest of the stuff so he's making another one up. Don't think it will be here for the comp on the 2nd but I'm sure for the next g6
