The Sled looks like fun... Maybe you should bring it just in case we have time at the end of the day.

OK Sacramento area hobby shops, who wants to start up a scale club so we can have regular gtg/comps going I just need to get a bag of tennis balls and just dooit

Chris, start thinking about a name and logo for us

I know a lot of guys got out of the comp crawling because of rules so I guess we can start talking about what everyone wants to see in Sacramento I know the Team Lerk guys started with 2 and we've had 18 guys show up for a gtg one day. LMK and I can start checking or if anyone else wants to get it going. I'm not working so I've got time right now.

Normal meeting place is right after the am/pm A mini shopping center with large parking. Easier to meet and wait. Also if sharing a ride I leave my car in that lot. Now if there will be 5-10 cars left there I would move them into the larger shopping center on the auburn folsom side of ampm

Tim, that truck looks awesome, as usual.See you at FolsomMartin, sure ,lets get a logo going and doit! I don't think we need a license, permission or anything, we just do it.
Well, I finally got this in running order today, Just in time to beat the crap out of it at the next g6 I still need to make a mount for the spare and start getting an interior together and l.e.d.'s, etc, etc.

If memory serves, I think the park closes at 6 or 7. I'll check the signage again when I hit up the park tomorrow. Also Martin, I'm definitely down to start a scaler comp group. I'd be willing to help to set up and coordinate as well. But group rules is a good starting place...

No reverse penalties.

I can meet you at the parking lot and head out. I like to take the 4x4 way in, though there are paved roads to get there. So if you don't mind treading off the beaten path, you're welcome to follow me. Just be forewarned about two things.

1. I am notoriously late to just about everything. So be prepared to wait a bit.

2. My tailgate on the Jeep spontaneously opens when wheeling and on-road driving. So also be prepared to see me jump out of my Jeep and slam the tail shut if you follow me out. Nissan_driver can attest to that.

Other than that, I'll see you all there.

Cool, sounds like there's a little 1:1 4x4 group coming too. It's hard to tell who's talking 1:10 and 1:1. For anyone who wants to wheel in, I'll be in the parking lot adjacent to AM/PM around (i.e. probably 10 or 15 after) 10am. I have an annual pass, but we'll stop at the booth for anyone who needs to register.

We were all n00b's at one point. Come meet us at 10ish at the parking lot we've been talking about. Ask questions, crawl, have fun. I know I'm gonna be having fun at all scales, 1/8, 1/10, 1/20, and as of today (got her running again), 1/64th!

It's my only rig right now with head/tail lights.
