Cool video Chris! I can't wait to get my rig back up and running so I can run with y'all again!
I've decided to make and small changes to my rig to lower my COG.
Oh and Parker,
I don't know about that 95c burst idea man... I'm thinkin shit might break loose if I hit the boost lol!!
We'll see what happens though... I like the idea of having power on demand.

It's basically Doton point, just a little beach on the other side of the big rocks. I haven't found much out by Lincoln, not yet anyway.

Wow, Bill, that place looks gorgeous, I keep expecting an ewok to walk into the picture. Definitely a g6-rally kinda terrain. What town are you near? Or are you right on the coast?

Ha Ha me too, I was told that some of the Star Wars parts were filmed somewhere in this area. Iam living in Hydesville(POP. 790) about ten min. from this city park in Fortuna. I started a GTG/ Comp. thread for this area, back to a grass roots type of fun runs and GTGs. Held our first GTG/Comp. yesterday, four of us running and had a great time.

Sweet, I built a course in my backyard, it's pretty fun, and my buddies and I go to hobbytowns course in rocklin. That place is awesome. I'll have to check out folsom and post some pics up here.

So I found an "old" (brand new in package) 19T Drift motor in the garage today and decided to try it out in the scaler just to see what it would do with the 87/18 gears... WOW!!! What a difference in wheel speed!! I ran it around in the front yard and I was pretty impressed with the results. I'm thinkin about taking it out this weekend and see how it does in the "scaler" world. I'll post up and let you guys know how it goes.
Startin to think I may be able to run this motor for a while and just upgrade to LiPo batteries....hmmmm just have to wait and see!

Finally got a rig that is ready for testing. Preliminary testing is promising except for the stiff front shox.... never ran oil before except for lube. Now i am 40wt on all four corners.

Changes from pic 1 to pic 2:

1.Chopped the full cage off and redid entire cage to reduced the weight.
2.Removed Interior and action figures to reduce weight(for now).
3.Stretched WB from 11.25" to 12.3".
4.New front bumper for winch or more lights.
5.Located servo back to axle until I get a UBEC.
6.2.2 foams instead of 1.9 foams...My tired might be getting old and sag?
7.Custom front drive line that is a meld of MIP and plastic.
8. Bent lower links front and back. Uppers mounted higher to get driveling angles in more efficient spot.
9.Adding diamond plate on new rear bed...

If you guys have a trick to keep those front tires on the ground without changing weights of oil, I am all ears. They seem to pull off the ground very easy with 40WT oil. I might just have to put super light oil in the front shox...The RC4WD reservoir shox kinda suck! Shafts are polished already as well...

Thanks for your suggestions...When's the next GTG at Folsom point? I live kinda near Browns ravine. Is there a place to wheel around there as well?

I'm not too sure about the water level for March or April but I know in last June the water level was pretty high.

Let just say the area where we park would be covered in water, but this depends on the weather.
