I talked to brad last night and he's going to let me know where him and parker are camping so we can try to get a spot somewhat close.

just to let you guys know that part of Folsom (oak point/dotons point) are underwater or blocked off on the weekends so cars can't go through. A few guys and myself are plan on going Saturday to another spot (since Folsom isn't going to workout anymore) but we are not sure yet... thinking the Yuba Gap, I will post where we go when we can make a decision hopefully by tomorrow.

| Hey Mike, how's the terrain around your parts? I think the guys were going up to play in the snow this weekend. Since our regular spot is pretty much under water now we need to scout new locations for up coming scale comps Redwood, not that we don't want you up here but have you checked on the sonoma thread? They normally gtg wed nights at flat rock. |

Eagle lake's offramp on I-80 is starting to melt out,I've been looking around hwy20,Bowman road where it crosses the bear river. Also there is just a big dome shaped rock right at the I-80/hwy20 interchange that is cool. There may be a place at secret town off ramp a road on the north side of the freeway leads to the bear river a lot of gravel and open space, i just can't remember a lot of rock. I used to fly there.I'll keep lookin -------

i made these for the Rock Candy "Victory Junction" raffle at the AWCC. Mindy asked for some scale accessories for the Wraith, all made from stainless except the usual Ti pulley in the snatch block. the "Handle Hook" is my idea because my fingers get in the way trying to use a normal shaped hook. it might not be scale, but it is G6 tested. tickets are available thru Rock Candy RC and Mindy & Jess will have them at Cisco Grove. they're giving away an XR10 and Wraith plus some other goodies. here's the link RockCandy RCC Fundraiser benefiting The Victory Junction Gang |

We had a blast the entire day yesterday at in Oroville at the Fish hatchery, lots of rocks and some badass lines. We had 8 rigs running at once, here are some cool pics that I took for those that missed out on the action (too bad for you . |

nice pics Mike, isn't the hatchery an awesome place, comped my 2.2 there a year ago and haven't been able to get back. guys i need some help, googling deer creek park for the BYB comp today, i saw a park called quarry park across pacific street. i drove around but did not go far enough to find it. has anyone looked at this area, googling "quarry park rocklin ca" this afternoon it pointed me to a parking lot off of rocklin rd. it looks like some good rocks right from the parking lot and maybe some trails around what i think is a pond. i might be able to get back there next weekend, but if you guys who can get out during the week get a chance to look around the area post up if you think it's a place we could play for a while, we need some local areas not under water for a couple of months till the lake drops.
