Shoot those tires might as well have been 2.2's... That truck went anywhere and everywhere!
I wanted to thank everyone that showed up yesterday for making my first trip up there so awesome! I had a great time and I'm glad I got to spend my birthday with so many cool people that enjoy the same hobby.
SmokerMike, your Blazer is bad ass and the Yota is one of the nicest scalers I've ever seen. Gordy, your JK is amazing and it seemed to do very well on the trails. I'm impressed!

I had a blast and I can't wait to make another trip up there to run with y'all again!

Thanks again for making it such a memorable day!!

Hope to see y'all again soon!

You did go where no one else has gone before - and made it look easy. Can you send me a link to those boggers? I also might need some good rims..

I think you said you weighted the front and rear?

I'll keep that in mind after I get more miles on my super swampers..

I have the range rover.. did some mods - moved weight up forward (moved battery where yours is) and fixed some body & frame issues.

The body's not as light as your nissan but this big rig should perform a little better now.

Yeah chomp the Range Rover really did do well, and thats the beauty of this part of the hobby . A little trim here, I will move this there and try it out again to see if its better.

Damm does that mean I need to finish my chains? Was going to scrap the plans as the chains are scale but seem too small for the size lugs.

no I start too many things and switch and wind up not getting things done. Finally got my jk fenders and steps cut and mailed out today for paint. Had 2nd thoughts as I was just going to camo instead of a custom job it but sent it anyway. There are a few nicely painted rigs on the trails

Hey guys Event#2 of the Rock Hard series is posted for sign ups if you are interested. This is a great way to really test your driving style and your rig against the course and the clock. Chris, John and I went to their last one and it was a blast, plus you get to check out some different areas in the Valley. Team Lerk Event#2 check it out a great bunch of guys.
