Sacramento Scaler GTG/Comps
 

thought I would start a thread just for general scaler gtg's/Comps in the Sac area, no mater where its at. Sound Good ????

Anybody up for next Sunday GTG ?? I was thinking maybe Prairie City Off road park, there are some cool area's out there for scalers, but no shade, so I guess we'll see. Hey Bill, how was that area up under the bridge in Rocklin ????

Under the bridge is not that cool. Deer park in Rocklin is awesome IMO and the waterfalls in Rocklin are cool too. Lets do it!! LMK

As it gets closer to Sunday we'll see who's up for a gtg and where ?

Sunday will work for me, going to a crawler comp. Saturday. (Back to the Darkside:twisted:)

Sundays are one of the worst days for me when in town and when away from home not a chance as the wife will be pissed if I say I'm going to go play with rc's but we'll see.

Hey Bill, what time you heading out there on Saturday? I'm about 5 minutes from there, maybe you can pick me up so I don't have to pay to get in :lmao:

Fast track hobbies is on for tomorrow night. Got a text from Gordy that they will start moving the rocks on Wednesday.

OK guys, I just heard last night that the weekend closures at Folsom are over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:twisted: Now we really dont have ANY excuses for not have a GTG or Scale comp. on the weekends or during the week. Martin , what time should I pick you up?

Anyone up for some Scaler action tomorrow at Folsom or Deer Park?? LMK *EDIT* I got rid of the plastic back-half of the Honcho, and brazed up a truggy type back-half. Need to get it on some rocks to see if it is balanced or not.

NO, we are selling our other house in San Martin and have to go down there to take care of some business:cry:. BYB are having a crawler comp. Sat. at Beeks Iam going to bring the scaler of some after the comp. fun.

Can't go on Sat either, were having a big #3 birthday party for my little girl.
I might head up to Folsom on Sunday anyways. maybe some others will show up

I think I'm going to try out Beeks Bight this time, just stay on the main road, go past Dotons all the way to the end, I'm told the road just dead ends at BEEKS. If the area sucks we'll head back over to Dotons. theres some cool areas up top before you drive down the little dirt road to the lake.

I think you will like it there, after you are done playing on the rocks Iam told there is a trail that skirts the ridge back over to Dotons.:ror: Sorry I can not make it Sunday I will be out of town.

We were out at Beaks and oak point today. what a great time. I love Oak point, its a great scalers area, lots of lines and just a fun over all place for trail rides. Its kind of like a mini Moab. good times.

That date looks good at the moment. I should have a couple weeks off after this run.

The original posts in front and two velcro tabs for the back. My battery holder is back there. I gave it the torture test last Sat. at Folsom and it didnt fall off.:mrgreen: Still have to fab up a spare tire holder, hopefully this week.

Oh yeah, I talked to Gordy Sat. and I guess we are still at Fast Track this week, Iam in. I would like to have a outdoor event one of these weekends but I know for sure Iam out of town this weekend and next weekend.

Hi guys we had 6 drivers show up for last nights scale "BASH". Two tough courses set by Gordy, with him having the low score on the first course. Followed by Bill,Tony, Josh, Harley, and Travis with a DNF I told you they were tough.:lmao: I had low score on the second course followed by Gordy, Harley, Josh and Tony. I took some pictures and will try to post them up later.
