Event #4/ Rock Hard 1.9 Scaler Series
 

Hey everyone this is Team LERK's Scaler Series for the 2010/2011 season. It's going to be $10 for those who ran last season and $15 for any new comers. You don't have to pay to just run at an event, Only if you plan on running the season. You have until the second event to pay for the season. One event well be thrown away, so if you can't make an event that well be your throw away and if you make all the events your worst event well be thrown out. This well be a 6 event season and I hope to see everyone come out for this fun Scaler Series. There well be trophys for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place at the end of the season. Who knows there might even be some goodies to win during the season. So lets get this thing rollin, Down below well be the rules, scale points list and the locations. Please use this thread for signups and pic's only, The Team LERK Night/Day thread well be for chat and GTG's. Thank's everyone and if you need directions or have any questions just pm me"thumbsup"

There well be 2 bonus points awarded at event #4 for the 2 lowest scores of the day"thumbsup"

SCALE POINTS

5 or more scale items= -5
Real winch= -3/ Servo winch= -2/ Fake winch= -1
Metal bumpers F/B= -3/ Plastic bumpers F/B= -1
Hard body= -3
Servo mounted on chassis= -1
Fender wells or interior= -1/ Both= -3
Spare tire= -1/ functional= -2
Transfer case= -1
Full scale tuber with panels= -5/ Plastic= -2
Rear caged truggy metal= -3/ Plastic= -1
Leaf springs= -1/ F/B= -3
Lights F/B= -2/ Must be on while running courses.

BAD SCALE POINTS

2.2 Tires= +10
Non scale chassis +20
Cut down 2.2 tires to 1.9= +5


Rules

Rollover touch= +5
Any touch= +10
Gate= +10
Reposition= +10
Reverse= +1/ 1 free reverse on each course.
Repair on course= +5/ Time well continue.
Repair off course= +10/ Time stopped with 30 min repair.
Winching yourself out of situation or being winched= +5
Progression= -2

We well be using the 20 point progression rule"thumbsup"


Locations

1. KF- November 28/ Meet in parking lot 8:00/Tech well be at 8:30-done
2. KF- January 2nd/ Meet at lower section 8:00/ Tech at 8:30-done
3. Mel's Extreme Backyard-February 6th/Meet at Khols in manteca/7:30am-done
4. KF- March 6th under the bridge. Meet in parking lot at 8:00am for tech.
5. Red Hills-April 3rd
6. Finals/TBA

Alright everyone, looks like the rain is going to be a factor yet again so this event is being moved to KF back under the bridge. Tech at 8:00am in the parking lot and comp well follow. If you have any questions just pm me. This event well be held in same location as the last rained out comp.

Well the change has been made:shock: This event well be moved to KF under the bridge. Same location as the last rained out comp. 8:00 am tech in the parking lot and the comp well follow soon after. was trying to get your way for this one but got G6ed today, broken output shaft got me on my second stage and i'm too beat too fix it tonite, plus i need to upgrade so no parts till tomorrow.

James, sorry you missed it, alot of steep ups and downs and slick rock, hope JoJo had fun. they should post some pics, you won't believe some of the places parker took us.

have fun tomorrow all and bring the rain gear, hopefully you wont need it.

OH BOY:twisted: What a comp today and as Parker would say DO WORK because thats all I saw today, A bunch of great drivin by everyone. Want to give a quick big thanks to James for teching and a big thanks to everyone who helped judge and timekeep"thumbsup" This was a lot more wet of a comp then I thought it was going to be but that didn't stop not one person. The last course was my favorite of the day and i'm sure a lot more of you feel the same way, Being it was 15 progressions and looked like something from the G6 lol it was a great course and very fun to run. One more thing, Good job on the first place James, Jerry with a second place and Donnie with the second place finish for the series and we all have to watch out for Spencer, I only got him by one reverse lol Next time Spencer I can feel it8) Ok on to the scores and thanks again everyone.
