Any Fresno Guys out there?

We are looking for guys that are in Fresno or surrounding areas to go crawling with. There are currently 5-6 of us and we used to play on Friday nights at Blackstone and Shaw but they tore it down 2 weeks ago. So now its my backyard or another buddys. Looking for anybody interested and also new places to go.

I'm in Fresno. There used to be a sort of club, about a year after I put my crawler on a shelf, but I havent looked around in a while. I started blowing the dust off my stuff about 2 weeks ago. I might be up for bringing my pile of old crawler parts out for some action... before I deside if I want to sell all the crawler stuff to build a FOFF... not that there is a FOFF group around either. I know there was a few RC crawlers at Moonlight Maddness a few years ago, but I didnt go this weekend, so I have no idea whats going on anymore.

I'm in SE Fresno, have a Night Crawler I bought a year and a ahalf ago and have done very little with it. I used to head out to Pine Flat when the water was down but I'm up for about anything at the moment.

I'm in Fresno, and I'm into scale trucks and rally stuff.

Many good places to run your trucks in the sierra's above fresno, or Millerton.

I was just out at Millerton yesterday where the broken bridge is. That's a nice little area to test out crawlers.

Can you get out to the broken bridge? Used to be a fence kept you out but that would be a pretty good place!

I am in Fresno, SE. I have a 12'x12' area that I just turned into a course. I would like to find some people to wheel with as well. I have been watching this forum for a while and haven't really seen much in our are. Glad to see someone speak up!

It went from:

to this, just last weekend. I will redo some of it. But I had a blast playing for a bit:

LOL, shopping the home show for a crawler park...that's excellent. I'm expecting UPS to drop by my Losi Micro Trekker today, that's how big my backyard is! I need to run out to Dicky's shop to get some tools too, OSH don't carry the tiny allen driver for the beadlock screws. After that I'll be back up and running.

Not in Fresno but close, Visalia. I have 1 crawler functioning though I do need some knuckle weights for it. The rest are in project status. I go up to Kaweah Lake when the water is low, near horse creek. I'll keep an eye out for you guys planning something. Was in contact with CVRC but their comps were just to far for me. Never took part in a comp or GTG seems fun.

We put it off until this coming weekend, Saturday I'm taking Sydwall over to a local shop he don't know about and then possibly do some crawling after that. Still up for it?

Re: Any Fresno Guys out there?

I actually stopped at that shop yesterday (nice shop) and bought some bearings for my new tubes/knuckles, (I had lost one of the two screws and didn't notice it. One good fall with all that strain on just the one and it stripped the threads from the other). I installed/clocked the tubes last night and had 2 screw holes strip out for ont of the tubes!! Ordered a new light weight housing, but I am sure it won't be here in time to get it fixed this weekend. I am out for this weekend, sorry guys. Plus my wife has started her own project and needs my help for the weekend (big wood project, keep your wives' from PINTEREST!!!!!!)

I would be more interested in a GTG at Millerton. Lets set a date, and do our best to show. Bring your scale, your crawl, your R/C anything.

If we wait too long the lake will fill up!

That sounds good. I am just finishing up a few projects and bathroom remodel, but I will keep my eye open for a date. "thumbsup"
