Looking for a Central Cal scaler group to join.

Looking for a scaler group that has a regular gig going on. I live in the Fresno area which is great for crawling, just our local guys can't get away to crawl much anymore. I'm really interested in a scaler group, I have a Losi Night Crawler but it's up for sale. My main rig is an Axial Trail Honcho that I'm sinking some serious money into to produce a decent trail dog. I'm looking more for a combination of trail running and climbing instead of pure crawling.

I've been looking towards both the south to Bakersfield and north to a line from San Jose to Merced, eastward to Yosemite. I have no problem with once a month or so doing a gig, just need some advanced notice to prepare for it. I would even like to have guys come up in my relative area to crawl at Millerton, Dinky Creek or some of the other high sierra areas here.

Not sure if this is to far for you, but we have a scale series that usually starts in Sep.- May. Just look for the Rock Hard Scaler Comp series to check it out. Here is our gtg page http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/calif...t-day-gtg.html

Here is our final comp video

Manteca is a little far, looking for 90 minutes more or less either way. I'm actually southeast of Fresno a bit.

We really haven't held any series comps in Manteca, but its all good thought I would shoot you some info since you asked. As far as scaler clubs go you wont find any others closer to you than us"thumbsup"

There's some guys in Bakersfield that do GTG's but I think they're more comp crawl guys than scalers. I'm seriously just considering buying 4 or 5 Trail Honcho's for my family members and starting my own local scalers club. But please send me the information, who knows, we may come up there just for s&g.

finishline, and I got a big family with lots of neices and nephews that would love it. We've been talking about it for a while, it's just going to take a few months to get the necessary rigs.

No better way to start a club than to get a bunch of family together "thumbsup"
