I'll just stick with the 55t, even though the 19x2 is fun.

I feel scalers are more for own bash fun, I also think polyca body never can be in scale category. look at tamiya's toureg vs Pajero lol (polyca + tuber is different story) if there is a comp for scaler, only few ppl will start use hard body or tuber flame like how Reefer sold his cool tuber. if so, I would make super light radder tlt with lipo batt & polyca body w/ some shovels to win the race. but Is this really a scale rig?? and the scale contest sounds nice, but just too sad for any lose... what I want to do is scaler's only line running and mud run!!! near by super&2.2 comp Last edited by H I R O; 08-18-2006 at 04:12 PM. |

This title should be changed I can't believe that U can't find a place (like others have in the past have)that ALL SoCal Crawlers can join in on the fun!! I've been to every GTG thats been avalible to me no-matter what the drive time and never once has someone said that someone wasn't welcome because of what they drove unlike U. I'll be going out to the "Buttes" where the Rocks are Huge and all Crawlers are welcome. Rant over Rockdog!! |

hey i have been to most of the socal meets, i have held one before to. Im honestly sorry if this spot isnt up to your expectations. i along with camel_rc and a few other guys (with rigs from tlts to clod and Maxx) who live in Santa Clarita have been coming here for awhile and have always had fun. If you and who every else feels that way im sorry about that and i still hope you come down and give it a shot. After all you did say "I've been to every GTG thats been avalible to me no-matter what the drive time"!! So here rockdog to make you happy!! i invite ANYONE who crawls rc cars to come down and join Camel_rc and I for a little compition. feel free to bring ANY rig you have. We are having a 2.2 comp only because the terrain might be small for larger rigs!! is that better!! Last edited by CreepyCrawler88; 08-19-2006 at 06:53 PM. |

Not sure why your so pissed off, there are some HUGE rocks here plus it has a great shady location. In fact, my brother took his super class clod with Moab XL's here and it was still challenging for his rig. Check out this video (from the first post) and maybe you'll change your mind: http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...97745132&hl=en All crawlers are welcome.

Skepticism aside I too cannot make the crawl. Didn't realize my friend flying in from out-of-town arrived that day. Please don't take offense to people not being able to come or being skeptic to the site you chose. We of course appreciate your attempts in setting up a comp but in comparison to the other spots in the area this place just doesn't look like as much fun. Not saying it's not challenging or anything of that nature but that's the whole reason you took pictures and video right? To get people's opinions of the location? |

Right, but to have a hissy fit on a public forum is inmature and just retarded.

Who's throwing a hissy fit Camel? It rediculous for you to get offended by this. Like I said the effort is appreciated but if the site looks to be less fun than other spots it's not likely to be supported. When I go out crawling I like the location to look scale to the trucks. And especially when I find a new site I take pictures and vids to get opinions of the location before arranging a comp or gtg. Nobody's personally attacking you.

I see what you're saying. I guess it just seemed to me that rockdog was over reacting. No hard feelings to anybody. |

I like every one just wants to go crawlin. Your GTG excluded me and many others from the fun. So I told you how I felt about it (I'm sorry if that hert your feelings) ( just the way I was raised) and went some where eals to play. Rockdog!!
