fresno air port is alittle biger than reddings but the nearest large airport is Sacramento. you will probly have to rent a car when you get there and drive that to shasta unless you've got a ride.

what type of rocks do you all want. ill try and find a good large spot with terain for most crawlers.

Mike, when is this scouting mission going to take place? I am not to concerned about the availibility of rocks , but will the place be open for business!

Looking forward to you report!

PS please include a truck in some of your shots to give a sense of scale

were gona go up tomarrow even though it's spost to snow some more (get to test out the 4wd on the new liberty ). we will get plenty of pics and post them up.

im not shure, but they might not want us to move around there rocks to much. so we'll find out and talk to the nearest campground about reservations.

Did you make it up there Mike?

We have just over a month until this happens and there are some people that are interested in coming from out of state (other then Oregon), so I think if we do not get some pictures and more details as to camping info in a week we should postpone this event.

What do you guys/girl think?

Wide angle shots with your RCs on the would be great.

I would also find a Park Ranger and get permission.

Some Rangers consider RC's motorized vechiles. Which are banned in most parks.

Trust me on this
..............BEEN THERE..............DONE THAT .................BEEN ASKED TO LEAVE!

no not yet. damb home work

i think that moving it back a month would be great. since the the snow will be gone.

But there is a place that is 100% better to crawl at than shasta.
there is huge amounts of rocks, and no one to get us in trouble for playing on them. but.....

OK, so RSI/everyone else do you agree on moving it back a month? And if so, what's the new date everyone came make?
