Yeah it may be the shorter. Its ling though. I squeezed it in that way as well lol. Hhah bunny hopping scaler? That would be interesting to see. Hmm now you got me thinking lol. How was low end on 6s? Haha

So from the 5 min of garage crawling I've done, it seems to be a pretty smooth alternative to the more expensive $80 and up motors. Not to mention, I don't have a sensored esc either. So that would have been another $80 for a mamba max pro.. So this saved me about $100

Nice - can you post a short crawling vid? I looked into sensorless outrunners initially but decided to go with a revolver s because of John's reputation and the fact that it is purpose built for crawling. I just think outrunners are badass for whatever reason.

It's decent on 2s but I need to go 3s or 4s to really give good, relevant feedback. The resolution is actually pretty good and will only improve with lower gearing and more volts. It's almost like my nightcrawler; it stops dead when you throttle off and just hangs there.
The drag brake is ridiculously strong too, so I have my MMP set at 20% strength. Any higher than that and it gets really jerky.

My understanding is that the 412 is better for speed and G6 events whereas the revolver was designed with comp crawling in mind. I read that John runs them in all of his rigs.

And ya my friend has the holmes revolver, but he has an un sensored esc so it cogs a little bit. I think out of the whole day we went crawling I saw it cog like twice. So it's still a good choice. Only problem is that you need to cut a hole in your motor plate to run the sensor wire. Unless there is another way

Normally I believe you just copy the embed code from youtube and paste in your post somewhere. Worst comes to worst you can just post a link to the video.

For the revolver, I just plugged in the sensor wire and installed the motor - seems to work fine.

About the installation of that power 10 motor, please? Is that a direct bolt on or needs a adapter? Any pictures or video? Looks like hobby shopping after work today. Hobby town or country ..LOL Thanks for helping guys

The power 10 is from hobbytown, it's a direct bolt on, just have to shave a flat spot on the pinion shaft, and slide it thru to the other side of the motor. It's like 20 min of work
