That is an awesome spot at CDM to crawl by the way. You can't ask for more with the great view of the boats coming and going, the ocean breeze, jump in the water to cool off after a hard day crawling, etc.

DAMMIT!!!

I thought I missed you guys when I moved from there back up to western WA, at least there was an active group of crawlers that would comp once a month. Now that I am living in Idaho the comp scene is different... I went to a scaler comp today, I am really not sure what the hell they were doing. It was a cool get together, but miles from being a comp.

*sigh*

Gah! The rangers at Mission trails are being pricks! Twice in two months that I have been told that I cant trail around there. The first ranger had a great reason: they make a mechanical noise. Umm, mountain bikes anyone? General pricks that knock stuff over to knock stuff over? Dog owners that don't pick up their dog's crap? Grrrr...

Thursday would have to be around 5 p.m. or later. I am cool with that, won't be so hot out there in Santee at that time.

The place off of Summit, the hills behind the church, is also cool, I like it more than West Hills. My friend Mark and I might be able to do Thursday after 5

I like the terrain way better, that does not mean i won't go back to West Hills since i really didn't get to see much of it.

What is your definition of better?

I have never been to either location, so I am curious.

Im curious too. I've been to Summit and didn't really find anything other than the trail that goes up the hill to the west of the field. I never found any rocks or real good crawl spots.

You need to come out toWest Hills with Shinjari and I and let us give you a tour. Just make sure you bring bee and snake repellant.

I would say that it is 1.9 friendly, I was running my Wraith and a friend had a 1.9 rig and he really enjoyed it.

I'm game for a West Hill run with you guys, I could do Thursday if that works for everyone. I'll bring my bee gear and long sticks for snakes
