Surprised no pics from the friday night run. there was a ton of people, way more than I was expecting haha. Yeah Cody sunday morning wouldn't of worked (at least for me), too tired from BBQ for the 4th. I wasn't useful until easily 11am haha. |

Coty, sorry I missed Sunday, if nothing else send me a text next time if you want. My bad though, we even talked about going. I should've hit you up on Saturday, but being the 4th it was a little more hectic. I'm down for crawling whenever, you got my number! Hey, I'm getting a Deadbolt SCX10 version... it's what my nephew wanted, I tried to talk him into a G6 Faulken Edition or even maybe a Vaterra Ascender Blazer but he wasn't having it. Hey also, I have a brand new 1300mah 2s nanotech that I was going to use with that slickrock eventually, if you want you can have it. I totally forgot about it and it's just been sitting in plain sight for about a month now. Last edited by trofferb; 07-06-2015 at 06:12 PM. |

The deadbolt is gonna be sweet. I cant wait to see it. Ive already picked up a few things for the slickrock. I 180ed the trans for less torque. And working on a 4 link setup for it . Just bring the 2s next time we go out. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk |

Hey guys, what's the facebook group? I can't seem to find it... Also, it seems to me that La Jolla Cove is really the best place to go. Does anybody know of any other places? I've tried that park in El Cajon and wasn't too impressed (tons of leaves and few big boulders). Thanks |

La jolla cove is a good spot, glider port is nice too, santee/west hills, del cerro, otay lakes, lake wolford (sp?), flynn springs all come to mind for local san diego. Search for San Diego Scalers on facebook. Temecula has a handful of spots and corral canyon is a great spot off the 8 |

Yeah Coty, I'm excited about the deadbolt. I got the gelande front axle fixed finally, just today, but after driving it around for a few minutes the steering tie rod broke! It might not be broken all the way though, I might be able to use a longer grub screw to attach the ball link to the steering link, and if nothing else I can probably use a plastic ball link for now. I don't think the original owner used threadlocker on this build, and I guess I missed that part of the links going back through it all. This thing doesn't have a good track record so far... I told you I got ripped off . That's good to hear about the slickrock, at least someone is doing something to it. That's the dilemma with my losi mini crawler, do I keep the 3links and run my battery and esc on a 3link tray like I have it now (but haven't run it like this yet, waiting on parts), or do I 4 link both sides and be forced to run the battery either on the axles or up higher... decisions decisions. I think for now I will see how it runs 3link, then I'll probably end up just doing the rear 4link for now. Anyway no problem on the slickrock lipo, will do. |

Just curious, what area in the Plaza Bonita location do you guys go? I'm always looking for a spot. My sons and I always try to find cool spots to do some crawling and fun, harmless bashing (by 'harmless' I mean we try not to disturb the surroundings as much as possible). I am looking for a front truss/link brace (no idea what they are called) for my scc10. They all seem to be made for a specific axle (vanquish, etc) and not fir thr stock housings. Does anyone know where or what company makes em for the front stick housings. Have an STRC rear which I like..just wish they made a front. Thanks in advance.
