Not sure yet. I have talked to everybody but Robert and no one else seems to have a problem with us.

Anyone up for Elfin Forest in San Elijo this weekend. The better half is working night shift all weekend so I will probably be out there Saturday and Sunday. Later, SLOB

Not to get all preachy but there were cigerette butts thrown all over and water bottles and other trash. Just a little common curtisie goes a long way. Thanks I'm done. And yes I have been guilty a time or two.

Were you there after the raffle? Because I sent out 3 people to pick up all of the trash they could find around all 3 courses. We filled a trash bag and much of that trash was from prior to that day.

What time and exactly where is the GTG saturday at Elfin forest area??

SLOB 05-30-2008 12:31 PM

I'm not sure about, or if anyone else will be there but I plan to go out there at around 9a.m. on Saturday, but am flexible if anyone else had plans on another gtg or time. I am coming from Oceanside so it's not too bad of a drive for me. The locating is just off of the self guided botanical trail where it crosses the water. Take the trail that leads upstream instead of the main trail head. When the trail crosses the water work your way downtream about 30-40 yards. Other then that, later. SLOB

The Muscle 05-30-2008 03:34 PM

I'll try for around 9am....off o0f harmony grove correct? like the map on pg 46 post 918?

Nabil 05-30-2008 04:02 PM

yup. if you park in the overflow lot its easier

SLOB 05-30-2008 04:51 PM

Yeah, sorry I forgot to mention that. Last weekend it was pretty busy in the lower lot, I just waited for about 10mins and someone took off. Overflow lot is a much better idea, don't have to wait.

Nabil 05-30-2008 07:27 PM

once you walk down the trail from the overflow lot you are right there too

rhett314 05-30-2008 09:18 PM

Will try to find the place. Just visiting the area, but brought a couple crawlers. Look forward to doing some crawling, and meeting you all.

TyBrittain 05-31-2008 11:11 PM

Felicita FYI

Cheatin and I went to Felicita today, and crawled without incident. Many rangers saw us and none gave us any trouble. So I'd say there is no current official policy discouraging rock crawling. Might be a different story for a large group (and we did stay away from the native indian food prep area), but things seem ok.

Cheatin 06-02-2008 11:42 AM

Yep, we crawled mostly around where we had that last minicomp that started at the creek. We parked in that lower lot to the right as you drive in and walked right over to the rocks, crossing many rangers throughout the day without even an eye batted at us. Felicita is still thee most badder asserer spot around, hope it stays that way.
