I've been eyeing a new spot in Simi Valley. It's right off the 118 at Kuehner Dr. It's on the side of a hiking and mountain biking trail that I ride a lot. Lots of rock slabs and rocky climbs. There is parking and it's not too bad of a hike to get to the good stuff. Here are some google map pics.

Weekends work best for me, but currently my work schedule is so easy most weekdays work for me. This Thursday we are meeting up in Simi at 10:30am. Parking is to the right of the westbound 118 off ramp at Kuehner DR. It's right next to a chainlink fence and an open field. Let me know who can go. Should be a nice day.

Hey guys I'm jumping in on this but I'd really like to go. I couldn't attend the Vasquez run couple weeks ago due to prior plans I forgot about. I can do something this weekend if anyone is up for it. My 4 link broke this past weekend at lake balboa and is now up and running again. The motor was smoking like hell so I've ordered a new one as well. Now with the new parts I'm eager to get on a trail.

Sunday havik is planning a run in Placerita Canyon, which is about 15 minutes closer to the 5-14 split than Vazquez.

Let see how Placerita looks this sunday then plan a Simi recon trip for the 9th of March. If you can recon before then let us know how it gos.
We will prob hit our local spot this wednesday night around 7pm if you can make it.

I'm picking up a crawler soon (Dingo probably). We should meet up when I do and you can show me the do's and donts of rock crawling.
