Re: San Fernando Valley/ Lake Balboa shots Nice spot. I'm from santa clarita but won't mind going out there. I need a good spot to test my wraith. Where is the exact location? |
Re: San Fernando Valley/ Lake Balboa shots The exact place is off of the 405 exit Burbank and you're there. If you go, text me 818_919_5979 if you want to meet up. I found another pretty good trail run in Chatsworth too if you'd want to run it there. |
Re: San Fernando Valley/ Lake Balboa shots hey hey I'm from sun valley (north hollywood/burbank area) and I just got into this scale world and wouldn't mind trailing with some of you guys! Edit: just realized this thread is like 5 months old haha but my statement stands! |
Re: San Fernando Valley/ Lake Balboa shots I have run my scale boats there quite a bit over the years. Lots of rc stuff going on there. Boats, crawlers, fast trucks, rc planes etc. https://www.google.com/maps/place/La...4abf47f76d0296 http://www.lbmyc.com/ |
Re: San Fernando Valley/ Lake Balboa shots Newbee Me at 54 in Crawler World, Yes Been Balboa park area specifically Woodley park side, entrance is off Woodley st. going toward Archery range, take that road dead ends at rock walls (there is a bunny slope area too). I Also discovered in GRANADA HILLS, called Bee Canyon, park on Vangoh st. and Barto st. and walk straight across lil bridge onto dirt trail and you'll see the Arena (flood wash area) bring your trail course markers and go..... From the dirt trail you're looking down onto course, then run your rig up back onto trail for 30' then down again. Great viewpoint. The park has other lil dried up river areas that run through park. |
