Another option is Bean Hollow. We can try to hit it at low tide which exposes a lot of cool terrain. Here's a couple of pictures from last time.

It's south, down the coast. Google Bean Hollow state beach.

It's just south of half moon bay. Never been but I'd love to check it out!

We could all check it out, carpool down in the morning and come back in the afternoon?

So I think I'm going to sell all my parts that I was going to use for the wifes rig and buy one of those Yeti's. Ar60 axles with upgrades, scx10 frame, Assoc. SC 4x4, and some other stuff.

That should get me close.

If we can, lets schedule a Bean trip at least 2 or 3 weeks after the GSRCC Endurance on the 26th. By then my dad will probably be recovered enough to go.

I just have to point the go-cart in the other direction....

just a word of caution about the Bean....be prepared to get wet and spray the rig down with fresh water when you get back to your home stand. The salt can play havoc with any metal you have. some silicone lubricant really helps if you spray some on before you hit the beach.

Awesome crawling otherwise....

Wd40 works good against salt water. I use that to coat my engine in my jetski if it's going in saltwater.

I'd rather see you and the missus out crawling Mr. Noodle...that Yeti is just a big Exo...

the Bean is definately an all day affair....bring food, water and a lot of batteries.

How's that hitch mount working out? I have a two stand up trailer but don't always need to drag it around.

It's really sturdy. Cost me about 80 bucks in material. Took it on some pretty bumpy roads and it holds up fine
