Bob (owner) at the Dynamic Hobbies store in Hemet
^ primary supporter of our local GTG's/events.

Now has Dynamic Crawler Club decals available
for both your 1:1 and 1:10 scale junk.

for area gatherer's wishing to display their local area participation...
you know you want one ! Lol

I don't know how much sucking up it will take
for Bob to give into your wants...
but I won't be holding your hand(s) !? Lol

btw... these decals are club design.
there is no www. advertisement on them

the decals look the same as the logo
that you see on our FaceBook page.

Dynamic Scale Crawlers FB page

edit: oh yeah... it's on the very first post in this thread. doh

I will also display and likely give away a set of decals
at our upcoming GTG on Oct. 25th @ 8:00 am

The large decals measure 5" X 5"
and the small ones are 1/2" X 1/2"

I also have a portable Dynamic Crawler's banner and wind sock
for visual display when having our gtg's or events.

It should be highly visible as one approaches our gathering area
at Lake View Trail or any other location.

Our banner, offered in various sizes, can also be ordered/purchased
by those folks whom may have interest in acquiring their own.

Currently we offer two sizes...
Large = 44" W X 22" T (@ $ 37.50 ea.)
Small = 24" W X 11" T (@ $ 15.00 ea.)

Orders for either banners or decals must be
ordered thru the Dynamic Hobbies store.
Tho' I can take your order and payment
and deliver your purchased items at our gtg's/events.

Special order sizes are also available.

City of Hemet, Simpson Park

Directions/Google Map

gps coordinates
N33*42'18.9"
W116*55'18.7"
^ someone said these coordinates were not precision accurate
tho' I took them from the upper parking lot near Lake View Trail.
just sayin' as I've not double checked them.*

*Go thru the gated entrance, stay right
continuing all the way to the end of the road. (uphill)
There are a few speed bumps along the way... so go easy.

Note: # 1

the upper most parking area may only park 10 cars, maybe.
But if that is full... there is further parking in a larger lot
maybe a 100 yards just below the upper lot.

Note: # 2

Please be supportive of our local hobby store.
Dynamic Hobbies is supportive to our group's gtg's/events.
So... in turn, we should be equally as supportive

thanks

^ great pictures !

thanks for posting them Steve

And thank you to everyone for coming out/up
to participate at our local GTG

Since my son broke his camera mount early in...
and I was trying to use his other camera with a dead battery...
I didn't capture much for the memories

I had to resort to using my old camera to snap a few pics.

so here's what I got...

Here is the winner of our Dynamic Hobbies gift certificate.
Correct me if I'm wrong...
But I thought the winner's name was Taylor, coming from San Diego area ?

no real order on the remaining pics...
next time I'll hope to do better

And a few of Capn' 'Murica tackling a vertical climb (Steve aka ickabob)...

not sure what my son may have captured
before his junk broke...
but will likely post that up when I get it from him.

Again... thanks to all whom came out...
and congratulations to Taylor for being our scale winner

I think were are going to establish another gtg run
at SP on Nov. 15th... 8:00 or 9:00 am start ? poll ?

think you might be up for that ?

checking to confirm my son won't need work that day...
'cuz I dislike going at it alone Lol

I prolly will even if he can't make it
But I'll wait and check his availability tomorrow...
and then will post that date here and everywhere.

That's what I was wondering. I guess I've been paranoid about snakes lately.

I like the theme, though! It would be sweet with some old school Hemet Valley Ambulance decals. Maybe some emergency lights?

I'd suspect most have gone underground for the cooler winter months.
So it's kinda late in the game to build on yer paranoia.

In other words...
If you haven't got bit yet...
you'll likely have to wait until next spring. Lol

But it's still smart to keep a watchful eye

Oh this is just the beginning. I have a few ideas for it. That would be cool to get some Hemet Valley stickers. My wife worked there for like 12 years. The stickers on it were the only ones I could find at the time other than customs stickers. They are actually for a The Tamiya Lunch Box. It's from the movie Cannonball Run.

This post is to establish our next gtg date/time

The Dynamic Scale Crawler group
will again be utilizing Simpson Park
for our gtg.

It will be on Nov. 15, 2014
and we will start at 9:00 am

details/directions:

Dynamic Scale Crawlers FB page

City of Hemet, Simpson Park

Directions/Google Map

BTW...
if you have not been to this park before...
You must go thru the entry gate to the right...
and continue up that road all the way to the top. (dead end)

Any cars parked near the entry gate are likely to be bicyclists...
and are most probably not with our group/gathering.

If the very upper parking area is full...
there is a 2ndary parking lot just below the upper one.
Probably a hundred or so yards walking distance to Lake View Trail.

If you see our banner... you have found us

All are welcomed...
Hope to see y'all out there

I wanted to go to the last one but I wasn't sure how my 5 year old son would do on actual rocks, usually we just do a small obstacle course in my back yard. I took my son out there today and we practiced from 10am to 3:30pm with a 30 min lunch thrown in there. It was a lot more fun than I expected (I expected to have fun, just not as much as we did). I was also very impressed on how well our Wraith's did. That park is awesome with the amount of different rock formations. We will definitely do everything in our power to be there this Saturday!
Here are a few pics of today:

So I just may take you up on that this time

Look forward to seeing you and your son out there

Oh btw...

I've been authorized by our primary supporter...
Bob of Dynamic Hobbies, Hemet CA.

to award another Dynamic Hobbies gift certificate...
(no it's not the same one shown in this picture, but is the same $ amount)

I was not intending to do so for this GTG

So it is likely I will select the winner of this certificate
using my personal discretion.

Oh and my selection won't be based simply on the fact that I like you.
But more so... in consideration of your participation, support and enthusiasm.

sooo... be sure to suck up to me !? Lol/jk

more is possible...
If we have enough participation...
I could present trophies for over-all, best in scale show and operation
for both 1.9 and 2.2 classes ( ie: 1.9" = 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 2.2" = 1st, 2nd, 3rd )
But as stated previously... will be dependent on turn out.

Oh crap... just realized the presentation trophies I have were dated for the year 2013
oh well...

-----------

You are invited to attend TVSC's FF's g2g/run on Nov. 22, 2014 @ 9:00am
(pm ickabob, read thru TVSC's thread here or check out TVSC's facebook page... if ya don't know squat)
