Default BLC Awards BYOB Pot-Luck Party

Hey y'all,

Let's get together and celebrate one heck of a fun season of crawling.

When: Saturday 7/11/15
Where: Gatlin House
Time: Coolers open when you get there and close when we crash (11AM til unless you are dieing to get there earlier)
What: Food and fun (details below)

BLC would like to invite everyone that crawled with us this season to join us for a party on 7/11/15. My wife and I will provide home cooked carne and pollo asada for lunch and good, local pizza for the long-haulers that stay for dinner. The pizza saved Jake's life last time. We'll put a couple cases of Mexican beer in the coolers for all as well. We're asking folks to BYOB and to bring a non-dessert side that goes well with beer and either of the two meals above. Please bring your own comfortable, folding chair. We have several but not enough for everyone. There will be plenty of shade. We do however respectfully request this be an adult function. From our experience the conversation, music and rolled steel/concrete furniture in our house are not child friendly at all...and Paystin will be there. My 18 year old daughter has even made plans to be elsewhere.

Please post up if you can attend and what side item you are bringing. Feel free to bring a go fast RC if you want to do a little DnD in the street. I'm sure I'll bust out my land missile.

Thanks again to everyone that crawled with us this season. Jake and I are working on the trophies and we'll keep the design top-secret so that we can see DWray get all teary-eyed when he sees his spoils of war.

Hope you can make it.

I'm looking forward to another killer 2.2s & 2.2Pro comp season with Border line crawlers, always a great time crawling with these guys.
If you're looking for a place to crawl your comp crawling rig come on out.
Border line crawlers is the only club in southern California hosting 2.2s & 2.2Pro competitions. I hope to see some new and some familiar faces this season.

John Hall was in the back yard last night raving about Cougar Buttes. Not sure what accommodations are in that area compared to Horsman's, but he said its phenomenal area and phenomenal rock

Cougar Buttes is probably the best crawling location in Southern California to crawl. Accommodation, a BIG zero that I know of. IMO if your looking for restaurants,Walmart, beer then it's just like @ the Horsemans comp, Victorville is the best place for hotels. ( about 60minutes from Cougar Buttes)
One could always camp @ Cougar Buttes.
