What time dose the party start? I am trying to get my wraith together for this weekends G6 (not looking good still waiting on parts) but I would love to go back to the Hatchery. Last time I was there was for comp crawling (been a cuple of years haha)

It's Sunday March 13 sign ups start at 10, show and shine starts around 10:30 with raffle starting at 11 and the comp starting right after...

Lots of raffle prizes this month
Asiatees sent a whole package of stuff including a body and a mini ezup, scale by Chris sent us 4 accessory packages, we have butte county scalers shirts, a set of team ottsixx racing 1.9 KLR tires in the blue compound, and EandH hobbies in yuba city is hooking us up with a rtr axial honcho for our big prize..! 5$ a ticket, or 5 tickets for 20$, the more raffle tickets sold the more prizes we get for the next comp so come with a pocket of cash..!!!lol..
10$ to comp and half the kitty goes back to the top three in each class..!!

Oo so cash prize for winners. Makes me want to crawl even more. Btw, how does the point system go? Are you timed? Penalties, etc? Same system as sorcca or w.e. it is called?

This event should only go for a few
Hours max..
We probally will have somewhere in the 200-300 gate range..

It is a timed system with penalties for hand of God and gate touches..

We got left out of all the show and shine photos so I feel compelled to post one of my own - haha.



We had a blast!! Thanks for putting these on. You will see us at most of them in the future. Great bunch of folks. Everyone was very helpful, well... Almost. There was that one dude running behind his rig. He seemed like he was on a mission.

Thanks for coming out, my photo man couldn't make it out, so pics are quite limited.. It was another successful event. 39 entries on a rainy day.. Thanks all for showing up..!

Butte county scalers present "SCALEFEST"@Baldrock.

This one will be our big yearly spring event at BALDROCK in berry creek California..April 9 and 10th, we will have a bbq and night run with a early bird show and shine on Saturday. And Sunday will be our regular monthly comp with a show and shine and raffle then the comp following right after..
We will be showing up on saturday around 4:20. Bbq will get fired up around 5:30-7:30 and then the show and shine with the night run starting around 8pm
Sunday signup a start at 10am. Show and shine starts at 10:45 with the raffle and first teams to hit the trail Will be at 11am..!

Well a few of us butte county scalers went down to LA for the Ashley cup at the Irvine lake rc park.. We ended up taking home three trophies in three classes, SoCal boys don't like losing on there home turf..hahahaha
1.9 pro I dominated won both heat races got TQ, then hit the main first on the grid and never looked back...!!!

BaldRock, one THE best spots to have a Comp. It has been maybe 4 years or so since I have been there, if I have that weekend free I am going to try a make this event. Nice job on the Ashley Cup slap down

Anymore specifics on exact location so that we can map a route to drive there? Is camping allowed, are people camping for this event or?
