Could you post a pic with the area circled? Next time there, I'd like to see if I can find it. TIA

I would be interested in meeting up at the Huntington Spot. I haven't been there yet. Only have scalers right now 1.55 and TF2 rigs.

The first pic is the location the second is the parking. Some of the area is gated and posted no parking. Parking on E Creekside is ok and close to the lower entrance there is another up by the top near a traffic light.

Funny thing happened this weekend. I was digging through some old posts looking for spots close to where I live. Found a spot mentioned...saw the pictures... thought... that looks great! Checked the google maps with the mentioned coordinates and thought... hmmm ok. Must be on the side of the road on the other side after seeing some rock piles in satellite view.

Drive over there..... and realized..... that spot is a freaking road now! I had forgotten that Alton Pkwy was finished just a few years ago, and the Allred spot was smack dab where it used to be blocked off from the road. DOH!

Where exactly is the CDM location?

Seems we need to organize some crawl meets here in OC. [shrug]

My crawler buddy is just down the street from there off Garfield. He's been telling m about that place too.

Going down to CDM today to check it out - rocks are at the main beach access parking lot. Will be there 12:30 to 3pm or so - come check it out.

Fun place, have to be carful cause its a wildlife area that's being rehabilitated. Ranger Rick stopped by to see what I was doing and said if I was ripping it up I would have to leave.

Hey guys!

New to this particular hobby, just purchased an Axial SCX10 II. Looking for locals or groups in the OC/Brea area that wouldnt mind showing me the ropes. I see this thread has not been updated for almost a year, really hope we can wake things up again.
