There are several active clubs out here...FB is where the post events and GTG's. I'll see what I can dig up.

Palm Springs/Palm Desert for the holidays eh? We'll be around, but driving up to San Jose for a few days after Christmas.

Berdoo Canyon isn't far and likely a great place to crawl. It's a 4x4 trail that goes up to Joshua Tree park.
You could also try the wash just south of the 10 on the very north end of Palm Springs - lots of round rock.

I have not done any crawling out that way as of yet.

Theres johnson valley its a great place to crawl buts its about a hour from palm springs and there dosent seem to be anyone else who wants to make the trip you can definitly break a rig out here and theres enuff terain for every kind of rig ill be in town till after the hammers and could take you by a few spots that i know of or cut a new trail lol

Looks like local club activity is north of LA area.
And it looks like you have a good opportunity for some crawling out in Johnson Valley. Means Dry Lake is a great place to start. Easy drive up from Palm Desert.

We'll be tied up with holiday stuff and some traveling. I'll be taking at least one rig to the bay area.
