Default (562) surrounding area crawling?

One of my incentives of getting into crawling was the community. I’m only 24 and I always have loved scale models and things alike. It seems like crawling in the LA area isn’t so popular. Just wondering if there are people who also would like to get together, crack a beer talk rigs and crawl!

(Currently building a course in my home in Whittier)

Hey Luis I also live in Whittier and recently got into scale crawling. There is a decent place to crawl in La Habra on Lambert of Idaho. So did you ever build that track in your backyard?

Are you on facebook? Crawling in LA and surrounding areas is huge, with events almost every weekend.

Some popular closer spots are: Malaga Cove, Fontana, Bracket Airport, Vasquez Rocks and CDM.

Popular further spots include Flanigans, Horseman's and several more high desert spots

I believe it’s a park, there’s a back portion of it where it’s just rocks and dirt though, let me know if you intend to go, would be cool to meet up!

I'm in Long Beach and looking to get out. I just got my Losi Mini out of storage to reestablish my rc interest to the wife so I can get a Capra. The Marine Stadium near the shore is surrounded with rocks to break up waves. It's like an infinite rock field, but a little too big for the mini. Does this look good for a 1/10th scaler?

LB Marine Stadium

Are people out at CDM or is it closed/frowned upon to be out there. The area around Marine Stadium is packed with joggers and bikers, all keeping their distance, but getting outside.

CDM is still active....was there about 2 weeks ago on a Friday. Not too many people out early in the morning, but by about noon it was getting crowded.
