Well if anyone else is free on Sunday and wants to join us we've changed our plans from Trinidad to hitting up Sequoia Park at 1:00 on Sunday

Hey guys,

I tried to respond last week but I don't think it went through. I'd like to get together this coming Sunday if anyone else is down. Sequoia or Trinidad work for me!

Sorry guys, this trip to LA and moving my parents turned out to be way bigger of a project than I had anticipated... That said, I am 80%+ for a park run Sunday. Damn Nick! Been a minute but it would be really cool if you could make it as well... Work on your brother!

I think this time around I'd prefer Sequoia as long as the smoke situation isn't too bad. You guys want to meet up at the park around 2ish?

Shawn and I are planning to hit up College Cove on Sunday, it should be dry. We're going to meet up at 11 so we can beat the crowds and have some close parking. I know David is busy and cant make it but if anyone else wants to join us just chime in.

Also if you guys cant make it at 11 the spot is very easy to find so you could join us later if you needed. Bring a jacket, the spot we got to is fully exposed an the wind can get pretty strong.

I am at 85% on being there. My folks just moved to McKinleyville and need to make sure they don't need anything but otherwise I am all in I am jonesing for some wheel time since I got robbed last outing. I have the new servo mounted and can't wait to see how in performs. Bench testing shows that it is far superior to stock. The autopsy of the stock servo revealed the plastic horn stripped out. The servo itself is unharmed. Simple design flaw.

I am fairly sure I know where the spot is but have been known to make mistakes form time to time. I may need directions again. Is it the spot off Stagecoach just north of Trinidad?

Good Morning all!

It has been awhile since I have poste anything here and just wanted to check in. Work and life in general have kept me busy over the last couple of weeks and I just haven't had any time to myself. Things should be settling down and it is time to get back out on the trails!

To keep myself entertained while I was working, I picked up an SCX24. Does anyone else do micros? (other than Nick)

While I haven't had any time get out, I have been checking into quite a few things. I think it is time for a new truck but think I need to build instead of buy an RTR. Purpose built for crawling.

I also stumbled across a local Facebook group that appears to be very promising in finding others that are into the crawl scene. It also may have the potential for new places to check out. I also understand that the owners of the mini golf out in Manilla are planning to build a crawler course this winter.

For those interested the group is: 707 Humboldt R/C Vehicles

I am going to post in that group this morning steering all of them to this thread. It would be cool to grow the group and expand our number of fun sites to mob around on...

I have 2 SCX24's, David has 2 I think and Shawn has the Kyosho mini Z.

Nice finds, keep us posted as I'm not FB user. That could be cool to have a course at the putt putt.

I'd love to get out this Sunday provided it's not raining as well.

At the moment I am tentative but will try my best to be there.

I am down with a Sunday run as well. Been way too long! I will for sure be bringing the SCX24 just so I can beat upon it a little!

I will keep my eye on the other group. It would be cool to grow the group and maybe find some new places to explore...

Weather aside, when would be a good meet time?
