crawling at.dana point harbor
 
i know there used to be a bunch of rocks on the north end of the harbor any one know if there still there and or if there is any decent crawling there other than the jetty walls

yeah there are still a bunch of rocks down on the beach before you go around the bend. Haven't crawled down there tho. Thought about it years ago when I first joined here. I live not far from there. I'm in Dana Point "thumbsup"

i feel the need to get wet so im pulling out the old woodie and gona spend a few days at doho just wonderin if i should bring a crawler along too
i used to go to there aquatic center when i was a kid and we used to play on those rocks
ive sailed in and out of there many times since i just dont remeber seeing the rocks last time i was out there but i had my hands full lol

great pics thank you it dosent look like i remeber it and it looks like the rocks i was thinking of arent there anymore

i just looked it up on google earth it looks like the rock im thinking of is still there its just surounded by water now

Yeah, you are thinking about this rock. Only accessible at low tide. Mid-day, around 2pm you can get to it.

thats it it used to be dry at high tide

Hell, the bottom of the stairs is under water at high tide nowadays. That ridge just above the waterline in the pic is about 5-6' high IIRC.

i guess 30 years of wind waves and rising tides changes things alittle lol
