Yep, 15 forward gears here too. little more than 100:1...can't kill the engine or stop my truck even with both feet on the brake pedal......all at idle.

Hey Paul i need some help wiring my leds. i found this website http://wolfstone.halloweenhost.com/L...eringLEDs.html and on the second diagram down i think that is the way i am supposed to wire them. But all i have to do is put a resistor in between each light right? if someone can take a pic of their setup then that would be cool.

Mine weighed a hair under 1900 lbs if I remember correctly. Motorwise I had a 2110 (I think that was the displacement) with dual Weber 44's on a Type 4 block. I bought the motor at an Army auction, it came out of one of their fast attack buggies. Puts out about 225 hp. So power to weight was about 8.5 lbs per horse. There is a company that sells the motor now, so if you are interested in seeing it...

You should use one resister per light on the negative side. I'm running in parrallel I think. I have 7 lights.

Got my lights hooked up today on my Bruiser. they are pretty bright. I didnt put a ton like Paul did but it is still better than that little clip on light that we spent 30 mins trying to get to stay lit.

Oh and how many crawlers do i have?..... 2. how many switches did i get?...... 1.

Where did you get your lights? What powers them? I want to put more lights than my FJ already has...

If the weather holds up, I will be up at Loon for Friday night camping, and Saturday wheeling. Where are you all camping?

Paul got them for me. They are from http://www.superbrightleds.com/

these are the exact ones. http://www.superbrightleds.com/specs/W18030.htm

Here's a pic of it. there is a 9v battery that is velcroed to the body and the wire just runs along the outside of the body, hot glued to the body in several spots. the wire runs along the yellow line.

Bill said we would camp just before the second dam. Oh and we got the rock guards that were on your Jeep but they turned out to have a plate in the middle of the bar with their logo on it. and was it hard for you to get the access hole for the furthest back screw to bolt into? it took a long time to get the hole right.

Yeah, I had to drill a 1" access hole to get the nut on. The rockers work great. You should see how hard I have bashed, slid, and ground mine and they are holding up great.

Anybody know if we can have camp fires up there yet?

Cool. Yeah we had to drill acess holes. the first one didnt quite work out. So now there are two 1" holes on the driver side, and one massive hole on the passenger side. i would think that after this rain we would be able to have campfires. my brother and parents went up to Reno yesterday and it was snowing at about Donnner.
