Re: british columbia well guys its been a while since i posted but my truck is back up and running on a fx-r and 35t on 3S, the wife now has a truck aswell. but the better news is that i am currently building a scale course at my house, its being made after the well known G6 style courses. the land i live on is great so natural/ lots of rock/ moss/ its great. as for right now i hvae completed two sections. i have not build any additional obsticals yet but i do plan on it for a few areas. i have started a dried up river bed section, hauld gravel in and then round rocks for the islands. i am wanting to put section three in before i set any dates but the wife and i are thinking of holding a large scale event. i would contact manufactures such as axial, rc4wd, tamiya, proline, ect, ect. to get items for prizes, give aways, advertizments like banners for around the start finish sections. also lhs for donations for weedkiller or prizes. if i had to pick a time i would like to think beggining of september. may the labour day long weekend? i spend most of my time on scale builders guild and have started a course build thread, here is the link to that thread so you can see the updates and changes. Re: british columbia Vancouver BC. I live down town. I got a crawler last fall and was hooked right out the gate. Started with a Losi Night Crawler. It stayed stock for about two days and then the mod's started. Little things like tires/weights and relocating electronics to lower COG. Started going to Iocco and joined the Crawler Club. Got my ass handed to me. Needed a Dig. Bought a Losi CC. Keep throwing money at it and it is getting better and better. I still have a ton of mod's to do. Our season is over but Sept sees the start of the next Comp series. I hope to be MOA Losi CC sooner that later. I hang out in the Losi CC section of the forum. Rock On! |
