I would have to recommend an scx-10, extremely capable. Very customizable and not expensive. I'm very happy with mine, which started as a rtr and is now a crawling monster! Lol

Thats right folks ! We going downtown again !

Sorry for update delays but I have been watching the long range forecasts and working with other Rc'ers to come up with a date for this .
We finally have a solid date !

Sat / April the 6th .
6:30 PM
Prince`s island Parking lot on Memorial drive .

This will be a low impact , light breakage kind of run for the most part ,,, So those going to Drum the next day will probably not have to do any repairs ,,Just charge yur batts .

We are going to park at the same place , route will be a bit different this time . Maps to follow .

The plan is to leave the Princes island parking lot at about 6:30 as we have a couple guys that are working that day , from there we are heading to Millenium Park to mess around a bit at the skatepark .
Bring a basher or whatever if you want to get a little Skatepark action in ! Im gonna strap something to my backpack , maybe my Slash ?

From Millenium we head east to that little park on the corner of 8th and 8th .
Lots of terrain in there for the trucks .

Then we will continue east on 7th or 8th ave , next stop is the Macdonalds on Stephen avenue .
Grab a coffee or whatever and head a little farther down to olympic Plaza .

Little rest stop there , play around there for a while .
Then it is north to Princes Island ,, We will cruise around the east end of the island heading for the bridge to the parking lot .
This should make for mud and water on the way out , close to the parking lot so if you blow up in the mud its not far to carry out .

Im sure this will fall into the average run time of 3 - 4 hours .
So 6:30 - 10:30 kind of thing . Gives us a little night time action for lights as well .

We'll say 15 - 20,000 mah's .
If you think you dont have enough batt for a run like this , sound off . Im sure there will be a few spare batts .

We had a great time and turnout last outing . all the people we came across loved the trucks , very interested . Lots of smiles .

The terrain for the most part is city streets and sidewalks , pretty smooth . If you have a rig that isnt super capable offroad , or maybe a real nice shelf queen that needs to be run this would be a good time to bring it out and show it off .
There will be some offroad type action as well . but you could go around it if you dont want to drive your rig in the mud and crap .
Probably have a few trailers in the group as well .

I expect to see some good numbers for this run ,,
Cant wait , going to be a blast !!

So , get your Skatepark basher ready to go !!

Minijoe check Socrawl.com. Bunch of guys from Oshawa area go out all the time, check the GTG section. It's worth the drive. I think they are going to Warsaw Caves soon, supposed to be awesome spot.
