Hey guys, I'm a bit north of most of you, up in the Newmarket/Keswick area. As far as i know the closest "course" is GTA hobbies in missisauga, but for 20$ in gas there and back, plus 20$ to crawl, its a bit out of the question. My yard backs onto "Killer's Hill", there are HOURS of trails in there, from mud and big 4-wheeler ruts, to hillclimbs so steep its hard to stand on, , roots/rocks/dirt/stumps, everything! I have a rock/dirt garden about 20' L x 15' W x ~7' T that challenges my super as well as the scale trucks. I dont know anyone that crawls around here! We're very 420-friendly, and we drive everything from nitro's to brushless micros. If anyone wants to get together for a run, toss me an email at justinpryde@gmail.com.

We currently are a group of 8 in the Hanover area. Much more fun when you get many crawlers going at once. Always looking for more people and more places to crawl. |

Hi Andrew from Ottawa Why yes it is! Very astute! Ya I'm a bit of a train guy too.. always been a CPR fan... I figure when I get my crawlin' skills up I can watch trains while crawling! Are you into trains as well? |

Hey guys... since I'm still new to this RC'ing thing.. where are some good servicewise hobby stores in the K-W Guelph, Cambridge area? I'm looking at getting an Axial SCX10 Honcho, just wondering if anyone had a good store to recommend as far as service and selection? Thanks in advance |

Yes, trains ( HO scale ) are the other hobby. Mostly 1920-1940 era. Lots of good train watching in S Ontario though. Not so much these days in Ottawa. Cheers, Andrew |

Hey Hudson, if you have a rig a bunch of us are heading to Wainfleet, outside St Catherines, a bit of a drive, but looks to be worth it. Sept 16th. Head over to londonrc for more detailes, it's a King of the Hammers comp. I'm in Dundas myself. Websters Falls near me is a wicked place to crawl, doable with 1.9 tires on my near stock Honcho. I got my kit online, one of the last kits available as they are only RTR now. Skycraft in Burlington has some crawlers but not a lot of parts, they can order what ever you need. Not sure about shops in Guelph or K-W. Come out to Websters with us sometime before the snow flies. |

Hey man... thanks for the offer, no rig yet, might just have to purchase online as well. I have read on here or another forum that Websters Falls is a great wheeling area, having never hiked there, I asked a guy at work that hikes there often, what it was like, and he was surprised that guys with R/C trucks could even crawl there! lol Thanks for the store suggestion! Seems like when I was into model trains, all the 'hobby' stores were into rc and the like with no trains, now it seems harder to find stores that have crawlers! |
