1st Annual Crawl The Giant. Aug.31 Summerland , BC
 

Come join us as we will take on Summerland's volcanic mountain ,Giants Head mountain. While hiking 1000ft above scenic Okanagon Lake, we will attempt to conquer Giants Head trails, and rock faces! We will spend approx. a 1.5 hours on pre marked trails then head to Full Throttle RC indoor and outdoor scaler courses for a show n shine, truck pull , hill climb,BBQ ( included)and a whole lot indoor/outdoor crawling.cost $25 per person ($20 16 and younger) Registration ends Aug.27. This is a FUN event with the hopes of having a spring competition if enough interest. Please let us know if interested in a spring competition. You can PM me for information about Auq. 31 event !!!

The Lower Mainland has likely the largest group of scaler enthusiasts in the province. Victoria and area is probably second.

Have pictures of indoor course on another site check my photo album out. Will get up a video of outdoor course in the next day or two. I also have skidsteer , excavator and couple 100 yards of material for hill climb !!!

So here is the schedule for Aug.31
9am registration/ show n shine ($10 to the winner as voted by your fellow RC addicts)
9:30 am Crawl the Giant
12pm BBQ supplied by Full Throttle
1pm-1:30 Hill Climb
1:30 to ? Indoor/outdoor courses, mud bog , truck pull. (using a rubber tote with a brick)
Cost is $25 per adult $ 20 -16 and under
Please bring hiking boots or running shoes,extra socks, water, and enough batteries for the day.
Due to dry condition ALL smokers MUST have a water container for ashes

I went for a pre pre trial run and it looks like Crawl the Giant will be 2hours long , so extra batteries are a must( extra power if needed at FullThrottle)
