Vancouver Island Competition drivers WANTED

We live in one of the best places in Canada to have competition class club(s).

Everyone seems to be into scaler stuff but if there is anyone out there interested in PRO or SPORTSMAN please post up. I really want to try and get something going over here.

Look on FB for Vancouver Island 2.2 Pro and Sportsman RC or post up here!

Thanks! "thumbsup"

So many scale guys on the island. It's cool I guess but I really really can't get into it. My crawlers got to be able to perform. Climb anything and running gates is just like, I dunno, way more rad than running a useless mud truck through I ****ing creek. I mean that's just me but there's gotta be guys out there that just want to get down and dirty with their MOAs. Common.

Are you hosting any comps? I would like to come for a sporty class, or if you ever want to try us in the lower mainland fb LMRCC we do comp crawlers and scale

Not hosting yet. I only know of one other guy who drives pro but he's over an he away and I'm not sure how serious he is. Until I can rally at least 2 other drivers there can be no comps. The Nanaimo hobby shop NRC has the ability and potential to help get something going but they seem more into scale, bashing and track stuff. They may also not really know about the pro and shaft scene. If I was closer I would try and start something with them but I'm a little to far north just now.

But I have got some things up on FB and I like to gently nudge guys this way but it is difficult when I live in this area up island.

Yeah if you ever get to Vancouver we hold Pro and sportsman comps, starting in March.

Check out RCpitstop Forum for dates. We'd love to have ya out for a comp or 2 "thumbsup"

Hell if you get a couple guys together at some point I'm sure a couple of us would come join in the fun.

Im kind of in the middle. I dont run a full on 2.2 shafty, i run 1.9 scale-ish rigs that have an emphasis on performance. No scale stuff added, no hardbodies/interiors, not really into "trail running". Im down in courtenay and it would be cool to run with more people who are focused more on the performance side of crawling although ill probably never build another 2.2 comp rig. Did that years ago when there were comps in victoria

The old 2.2 rigs got nothing on the new 2.2pro and 2.2 sportsman trucks. "thumbsup"

Yup im fully aware of that but they dont excite me enough to spend $$$ on one.
There is definitely enough challenging terrain in my neck of the woods though
