Who's making production tubers specifically for the AX-10 axles? I'm interested in carrying some tube chassis in my shop, but I'm not having much luck finding anything that I can get built around AX-10 axles. I did order some Sinaster's to take a look at, and I know about the Hustler and the Edge (but TCS doen't sell to hobby shops) ... So, who else is out there?? Jake

it really doesnt matter what axles are used under a tube chassis. the only difference between a hustler running tlt and a hustler running axials is the links. same applies to fatdog tubers, boyers, mrpink tubers etc... a chassis is a chassis.

I think he's looking for a chassis kit that comes with the correct links or a chassis that is a direct bolt on with stock links. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I haven't really heard to many good things about the Sinistar tube chassis, too simplistic for my tastes. I've always really liked the fatdog tuber: http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?t=85048 It's definetly AX10 ready with few mods and the lower Aluminum boatside tub is pretty cool. I've got a new design for a 1.9 rock tuber brewing Jake. I just bought 50ft of 3/16" 304L tubing.

Well, I guess what I'm looking for is a production based company that can build tubers with jigs (so everything lines up properly), can have them on hand when I need to order them, and have them designed specifically for the AX-10 axles. I know that many will say "will work with Ax-10 axles" but this is not always the case. If design for a TLT, shock mount, link geometry is not the same. I know things can be modified, but I'm looking for more than that for my customers. Ideally, I want parts that bolt together, with the proper geometry, so my customers will enjoy a nice running rig without problems ... Any tuber builder who read this and feel they have what I'm looking for, please e-mail me ASAP. Mad4Rnr: Tell ya what, let's make two cause I need one also!!

JPH, not that I like the look but New Era has a AX-10 tuber they sell: http://www.neweramodels.com/item.cgi...=&part_id=9009 Maybe talk to them on production of a more comp friendly tube chassis. Work a deal with say Mr. Pink buying one of his designs and having New Era be the Manufacturer of it...

Try http://www.neweramodels.com/search/index.cgi?q=crawler They have been making tube chassis since the clod buster monster truck hay day. They do some crawler tubers, I have not seen them in person, so I can't say how they work, I know there quality is pretty good from tube frame monster trucks I used to do from them. The will be the closest to a true production shop Most of the popular ones you see are from fellow enthusiasts out of the garage, that have a full time job. Thanks Corey | |

...maybe check out Death Metal Garage in the vedor section? Not sure if he would cater to you as a dealer / stockist but you never know... Last edited by BitHed; 05-02-2008 at 11:15 AM.

HBZ has one in the works, it was at the RCX show. If you look at the gallery, you will see some pics of it. I believe they are still working out some production issues, to get it as straight at light as possible

Hey thanks for the responses guys, this old thread got some new life! Bithed: DMG is a little tough to work with on the dealer side of things .... Great looking products, and the quality has gone up since he started using a jig to line things up straight. I've got one of the older chassis and, well, it's a little off in a few parts. Etype: Thanks for the lead, I'll shoot them an e-mail! Brian: Looking forward to it! Can you please e-mail me some pricing and info? I'd like to get a few on back order!!! Thanks!
