Default Question on MSD purchase?

After looking on the MSD site for weeks, last Saturday I finally found a set of Top Guns. Of course I purchased them without haste, lol. But, now I am wondering. First off, these are what I bought. And of course after the fact I have some questions.

Are these the Axial offset? Do they take the hexes from the Scorpion? I would assume so, but I will not know until I get them. If they are correct, they will be the ones that will rub on the RCP High Clearance Knuckles, right? I also noticed in the MSD page that they had a small run of different offsets that fit these knuckles without modification. How would I know if I got those?

Any help would be appreciated as I know there are a lot of you who run these wheels. thanks in advance all!

Jon

Just from reading the description on the website, it says the hex is flush with the backside of the wheel for 100% offset, which tells me they will put you at a wider trackwidth than the axials.

Offset will be wider, but I like mine (actually not MSD's) wider now.

They will fit a normal 12mm hex, but the Axial has a nub on it's hex. You can either file/cut the Axial hex flush, or drill out the hole in the wheel. Your call.

Damnit, damnit, damnit.

So how much wider are we talking here? 1/4" each side? I know I should know this but the site is limited in info, and I have never put other wheels on mine. This will be comp legal?

Did you ever think about contacting MSD to get the info straight from them?

Moved to the MSD forum.

Hey Doc, You will be fine with those. I have the same set on my comp rig. You will need to cut the nub off like Binary stated. My track width is at 10 1/4 with these same wheels. I have had no issues. You will love them!!!

X2 - same as THnCS - just take the 12mm Hex to a sanding belt or disk and take of the nub - you will love em - I run mine with RCP knuckles with no prob.
