Default The Kamikaze Kustoms Zero

The Zero
[LEFT]
Specificaly designed to optimize the new OCM/Berg axles the Zero is the first OCM/Berg specific chassis on the market. To keep cost dow the chassis uses the stock chassis spacers and hardware.

The suspension is setup to minimize axle swing and steer. Longer rear upper links are used to clock the rear motor up out of the way.

Most shock lengths can be used but I recomend the JP customs 90mm shocks, they fit the outer hole for a 3.25" belly clearance and just the right amount of articulation. A longer shock can be used as well, depending on the amount of ground clearance you desire.

The chassis utilizes TCS bent axial lower links for a 12.375" WB. A variety of upperlinks can be used depending on what squat/anti squat numbers you want. Jato and revo turnbuckles will be sufficiant. However the stock links can be used though they are not recomended without swappin to traxxas rod ends. The stock rears can be bent to give a legal W/B.

I also will offer an optional servo dig/electronics tray. It will be pre-drilled with a slot for a micro servo and holes for the dig switches. This will provide front and rear kill switches on 1 channel.

An 1100mah 3 cell maxamps battery fits very nice on the skid plate of this chassis.

That is an excellent chassis. If I had some cash, and some berg axles I would be picking one up! Nice work.

Sorry for the delay, but here is the production servo plate, just so you don't think you are paing $20 for a peice of angle.....

It has a mount for a standard micro servo, and mounts for the radio shack switches that we are all using. I also incuded tie down slots for velcro straps to give your electronics that extra safty.

I just test drove the ax-10 rock racer I built this afternoon..... let me eat dinner and I will post pics. The chassis plates will bolt up to a stock ax-10 skid, or any other aftermarket skid that can use the stock sideplates.

Would you guys be interested in just buying the side plates?? I could sell them seperate for $45 shipped for the pair of side plates.
