Exclamation ** Official Press Release **

As many of you know, I have been very absent on the forums for about 5 months. I would like to give a little detail as to why and to apologize for any inconvenience I may have caused any of our loyal MSD customers.

I had a major health problem, that is strictly stress related that started in January of this year. It was treated several times by my doctor and some specialists over the period of 4 1/2 months.

In May, we hosted the 2008 Tamiya USA, MSD Scale Nationals. Which will make anyone get a little stressed. I did make it through and was doing fairly well. Then my family was dealt a very difficult card and I sent the problem back into action again.

My doctor this time told me, the only way to fix it was to have a very expensive surgery. My wife had just lost her job, due to our wonderful government and we had no insurance for the surgery. I put my health first and had the surgery anyway. My doctors strict instructions were, NO STRESS, meaning stay away from anything that may aggravate you in anyway.

Fast forward a few months, no internet forums, no major contact, no stressful activities and no r/c stuff. My wife has no job for 5 months, we are living on one income, my job is starting to stress me out and we find out that we are having another baby. Yeah, it was a lot for both of us.

So today, I have a new job that I love, my wife does as well. We are both happy and very healthy as is my son. We have a pretty big debt due to my medical bill, but we are working on it each day.

MSD is still alive and well, Aaron " slobin3d " and I are getting completely caught up on any outstanding orders and we GREATLY apologize for that.
Anyone that has not had a order resolved, please email me right away and I will fix it , whatever it is. info@montanascaledesigns.com The webstore is still open and we have some parts in stock, but we are working on restocking everything very soon. All of our products are still made 100% in the USA and we will never change that. We have a whole ton of new parts, including the much anticipated Scale " UTE " chassis that will be coming to market very shortly. Lot's and Lot's of scale stuff, it's what we love to do and what we are passionate about.

I am sorry that I did not post this sooner, I should have and that is my fault and no one else's. I wanted to be 100% healthy before I returned to the forums.

Thank you for all of you who sent me e-mails, called me and sent get well cards, I greatly appreciate all of them. Thank you to the owners of RCC, jason and john for this forum, it is what makes this hobby so great.

I look forward to serving all of you in the coming years as a scale vendor and hope to see many of you at Scale Nationals 09' .

sincerely,

Ben Palmer
Owner - MSD

Glad to have you back in the swing of things and all is well. Sit back and take a breather once in a while, life is too short.

Earlier this year I had 3 Stents placed after finding three blockages, 90, 70 and another 70%. I have several more years before I even hit the big 50.

Oh, BTW.. blood thinners suck big time.
