"UTE" does NOT mean UNIVERSAL ..

it is short for utility

best you correct your website or you are going to make 25 million Aussies very unhappy ... m'kay

I dont think they are inferring that UTE is short for universal, they are simply saying that it is a very universal chassis.

I'd like to know how the bumpers are attached to the frame.
Are they just linked to the square crossbars by 2 screws ? If so what is the distance beween the 2 mounting holes ?
Thanks a lot.

yes the attach through the 2 screws in the front, the also match up to our fairleads so you can secure all the pieces through the same screws and the cross member is preslotted for the winch cable to pass through. I don't have the center on center measure off hand But I'll get back to you with it!

I have a rear MSD bumper sitting here and it looks to be about 1 1/8"
I'd imagine the front and rear bumpers are the same....

I just tryed to order few items for a Build of I started on another forum. 1.9 Pick Up Build Off on the scale forum. I bought a MSD scale chassis a long time ago, gave it to a friend before I did anything with it. Stupid move as they dont make that one any longer. This looks to be more scale looking so I am excited to get my 11"WB UTE. Now I am off to find a set of good looking Wheels/Tires, and a set of shocks!

Will you be restocking the UTE chassis? Looking for a 12.5" wheelbase for leaf springs.

Thanks
