Default JeepinDoug's stand off shock ball mounts, 5mm and 6mm

Here's the latest from JeepinDoug's Products.

Made from 7075 T6 aluminum and CNC machined, natural finish (no anodizing).
Click the image to open in full size.

These are ball ended shock mounts with stand offs. All the user needs is o-rings or fuel tube and a proper length mounting screw for each.
They are quite a bit nicer than fuel tube over a screw.

I'm not sure of all the shock applications but a Losi crawler 4" shock would use the 6mm balls (pictured on the right) and Traxxas Big Bores would use the 5mm balls (pictured on the left).

In some cases shocks like the Losi do not offer alot of room for articulation at the screw head so the user could just file a small flat on the ball mount flange like the single piece I have pictured in front. Orient this towards the shock when tightening and it will allow more angular shock movement.

This is a very limited run of parts, I'm not sure if I will continue with these but for now I have several sets.
Duratrax evader shocks use the 6mm ball
The US shipped price for these is $20 for a full set, this includes 4 stand-offs and 4 ball flanges in your choice of ball diameter.

Please mention ball diameter in Paypal.
Any International shipping will be an increase of $1 USD to the price.
As always my shipping goes out on Tuesdays and Fridays.
PM me for any information

I'll hold on to a set of 5mm for you Travis.
I'll get a pic up shortly of the 5mm on my Losi shocks.

Something's up with my photobucket album, I'll increase the pic size when I can.
Edit, that's better.

Got the parts Doug, thanks. Illl edit in a pic of them on the big bores in a bit

Oh, and thanks for the present, wasn't expecting that!

EDIT: Here are some pics:

Click the image to open in full size.

With my setup, I just had to modify slightly, I turned the flange down for clearance, but filing a flat would have worked too:

I used the conical spacers for my upper rear mount, I turned these just a tiny bit shorter:

Seems to work perfect, much easier to disassemble now without the fuel tube/nut arrangement I had before.

Good work Scott!
Harvo, I will try to keep making these but they are a little difficult and time consuming.
I will try to get the latest orders in the APC tonight which means they start moving tomorrow.

I need to know which size you want.

I need people to write the size in Paypal or PM the size as long as the PM tells me your RCC screename or email.

All recent orders went out today.
