Moes Fabrication & Welding Presents

MRC Pro Link Kits!

Direct replacment link kit for the MRC Pro chassis.

Now offered in separate upper and lower kits. Many have requested lower link only kits so here you are."thumbsup"

4 straight upper links. $25.00 (plus shipping)

2 30° bent rear lower links, 2 20° bent front lower links and 8 Titanium sliders for lower links. $45.00 (plus shipping)

$67.00 for full kit. (Uppers, Lowers and Sliders) (Plus shipping)

Pm me for payment details.
It is best this way as I will only accept payment for parts I have in stock. If you include your Paypal address and I can send an invoice..

Links are 1/8 (.125) grade 5 titanium turned down on the ends and threaded 3mm to accept stock MRC rod ends (not included). I have had success with reusing the stock ends but I would recommend replacing at least the 8 left handed ends off your exsisting links. These links are right hand thread on both ends.

Weight savings with the full kit is 29 grams or 1.022934 ounces. Plus you gain extra clearance running bent links plus running a smaller diameter link. The Titanium sliders provide a nice transistion from the link to the larger diameter rod end.

Link sliders are a light press fit on the link so they will stay put next to the rod end. In the event they do start to move on the link a small amount of CA will keep them put.

Upper links are slightly longer to allow outboarding the links at the chassis and maintain the pinion angle. Uppers and lowers are for the MRC Pro chassis and 4 link mounts only I cannot guarantee these will work with any other chasssis on the market.

Any question feel free to ask. I have 0 sets uppers and 0 set of lowers ready to ship. This is a spare time project for me but I will do my best to keep these available.

For convinence I also have the stock MRC rod ends available # LOSB1418 $8.00 a bag of 8.

USPS Priority mail is the prefered shipping method at a flat rate of $5.20. Other services may be available upon request.

Thanks or looking8)

Thanks! No plans were made to offer them separate for 1/8 links. I do have some not accounted for PM me with your needs. As for 3/16 links I have tooling ordered to try and make those. If all goes well you should see something in a couple weeks.

Don't forget about Chaotic Crawlers they make a nice set of Ti links for the MRC and other chassis.

I do not have a chassis to say for sure. Looking at some pictures of this chassis I am leaning towards no they will not. The lowers might be close but I just cant say. Uppers is a solid no. His uppers are much shorter than the Pro uppers.

If I had a chassis or more information on lenghts and rod ends used I am sure I could make some if needed.

Thanks Marc

DAMN. Ok, what measurements are you looking for, eye to eye or overall link length with out rod end?
How long would it take to make if i sent the entire rig?8)

Eye to eye plus the rod ends you intend to use. The whole chassis would be better as to make sure there is no interferance when doing bent links and to make sure your wheelbase stays legal. As for turn around it would be a few days once I had the chassis to get things sent back. Assuming my day job does not get in the way"thumbsup"

One concern with that chassis is it looks like it uses larger Traxxas 1942 rod ends on the lower links at the chassis. My current Ti sliders will not make a nice smooth transistion from the 1/8 link to that rod end.

Shoot me a PM if you have more questions.

Thanks Marc

Those would not make the MRC Pro kit I offer a direct fit. But yes I could make custom links for that chassis and link mounts. I would just need lenghts or a chassis to work off of. The sliders would still be an issue however with the larger rod ends.
