Default BERG/XR10 behind the axle battery mount

This is my new battery mount for the berg and XR10 axles I will start cutting this next week and will be doing a run of 25 to start.

It is mabe from 1.5mm carbon fiber and 2.0mm carbon fiber. This as you can see mounts in between the motor and gear case. You will have to run longer motor screws and move the pinion out a little. The part that goes in between the motor and case is 1.5mm and that is how much you move the pinion. I have checked and you will still have plenty set screw hitting the motor shaft.

It will come with all hardware and together lncuding longer motor screws.

This will possibly work on the XR10 too I have not been able to test fit one yet.

These are up for preorder and They will ship out in the order they come in. The price is $30.00 shipped to the lower 48 send paypal to bigrons4@yahoo.com

It is possible that it will, on a bully does the motor sit flush with the back of the gear case.

The links in the first post are each broken, any chance of the thread URL or if they are on a seperate webiste the URL for that album?

Really would be good to see how this looks mounted with a battery and on a rig. I've made an aluminium one that lays the battery down between the upper and lower links and bolt into the gear case, with this is looks like it places the battery vertical between the links??

Cheers

Thanks, that'll be great. With the Berg set up I have, not sure a vertical battery will clear the links when the axle articulates. If it does then this solution looks good and would look to pick one up.
Cheers

I look forward to seeing this one in person. I'm hoping that my batteries will fit on this without contacting my links.
