I like this chassis so much I bought one for my berg. Vertec hit the nail on the head with the changes to the SS chassis. I need some slightly cooler weather and rocks closer to the house to do some more testing on, but so far I'm really happy with this chassis.

Nick...could you post a pic of the rear lowers for the berg laid on top of the delrin links for the SS to compare the differences?

It looks like I am just old fashioned. I really like the way my delrin chassis bounces back after landing on its lid time after time. Is there anyway to keep up with the times and not go cf?

I still have mine like that it just works!!! But to get light weight you will have to start using cf somewhere. Lol

I was the same way but after taking a hard fall from the same place that i broke a chassis once and a link another time the CF made it threw ok i think with the lighter weight rigs the impact is not as hard plus the CF being stronger.

And the best thing ive found snice going lighter is that when i move a link one hole things change before i would move stuff around and it was like nothing changed so i would just throw weight at it to make it change.

Those look great Nick...any chance of building a set for the Special Ops with Berg axles with a little forward bias built in?

your probably right. Does this new chassis have most of the same link mounting options as my current chassis? I guess the big question is can I just swap everything over and it work similar to my truck now. I need to just drive over and work this out. My wife is not going to like you when this is over.
