If anyone knows how to order while NCD is closed, please shoot me a pm. I'd like to place an order for one of these. I don't mind waiting until the end of summer if I had to.

I've always just ordered by PM, but Tomi's been pretty quiet for the last month or so. I would just send him a pm titled ORDER and patiently wait for him to get back to business. He was selling kits even during his closure, but who knows what he has left in stock.

Just wanted to post that tomy hit me up and my chassis is under construction. What a good dude taking time away from his summer, while the shop is closed, to get me what I need. Thanks tomy! Very much look forward to rocking this!!

I think you'll like it. There are a number of good looking shafty chassis now for sale, but Tomi's might stand alone for pricing on a carbon fiber chassis with a fully milled out skid. And while he designed it as a cab-fwd design, you could easily make it a bit more conventional if you wished using you own choice of link lengths. So far I'm using his recommended lengths for both Losi and AX10 SuDu's and it's working for me.

I did order his low clearance links. A) am I going to regret going low clearance? I've never driven anything that didn't have dlux high clearance links on it. B) if I use them, will I need custom rear drive shafts?

Dunno...I went with the high clearance links. I did have a problem with contact between my rear driveshaft and the link, and it may be the same for low and high clearance links. The resolution was to clock the rear axle way back so the pinion shaft points straight into the driveshaft. But that by itself wasn't enough. I had to select a driveshaft that had the common large female section and smaller male section and run the male to the tranny to take advantage of the smaller diameter. I went with a beefed WB-8 Axial driveshaft for that.

The driveshaft lengths may be a little custom as the front will be shorter and the rear longer than the typical Scorpion. New WB-8's come with multiple plastic shafts, so you can build different lengths.

I have one 2.2s chassis ready for immediate shipping. And more are made to order. This chassis is ready to place you on the podium.

This season a Sudu One was used to take #1 at the German Supercrawl and #2 at the US Nationals, just to mention a few podium finishes.

It varies but the longest it's ever taking for me is about 9 days... Just got something from him and it came within 5 days of being shipped out...
