I have about 10 hours invested in my build so far....knew nothing about this kit until today. Sort of takes the fun out of building one

Great looking product, none the less

I've got less than an hour in building mine and already had lots of fun

Now I can spend those other 9 hours making the rest of the rig look even better

Shipped a bunch of kits today. You guys should see some movement on tracking. Many more tomorrow. Sorry for the delay. Anyone who ordered the titanium links are still waiting as I am still waiting for the links. I contacted you all individually via email. I don't make the Ti links so I'm at the mercy of other factors.

here is a picture of the bellcrank steering that some of you have been asking about. the lower skidplate has been removed so you can see everything. HTH

the aluminum traxxas steering unit (blue) looks like it was meant to be in a wraith.

it takes about 2 minutes to remove the bottom skid to have complete access to the steering components, servo, ring gear, driveshaft, motor and transmission.

After installing mine, I noticed that the stock steering links are way too short. You mentioned they could be adjusted to work but the thread engagement would be almost zero into the rod ends. I was wondering if I may have mine installed incorrectly but it looks like it is setup exactly like you are showing.

..... i'll have to check my notes. are the suspension links any longer? i know we used links from somewhere on the EXO and seemed to be long enough.

i checked the stock links we used for mock-up. they seem fine to me but that's a matter of opinion. plus we didn't run the stock links they were just for mockup. i'll change the verbage on the description and get you guys some lengths so you can make them yourself.

we also offer a titanium link kit. BTW anyone waiting on their IFS kit due to backordered Ti links... these will ship today .

Which Traxxas steering unit is this? Also, what is the length of this steering rod, eye to eye..?

per BMRC website...

"Steering: you will need a Traxxas bellcrank steering unit. Because of the precision machined steering posts (provided), you can take advantage of the aftermarket aluminum cranks with ball bearings: Traxxas part# 3743A. The stock plastic Traxxas bellcrank unit on a budget. Part# 6845X."

STRC has a copy aswell...few bucks cheaper

Very sweet. Made me have motivation to buy a wraith and IFS it! Not only it looks cool but is there any better performance benefits over a solid axle? Crawler wise.

For the guys buying the STRC steering links you will also need to get traxxas part # 3966(revo throttle linkage shoulder bolt) which is a shoulder bolt. You can also use part # 3642X(shock shoulder bold) but these bolts need to by cut because the threads are to long an interfere.

Traxxas part # 3644(slash suspension links) will work for the steering link and plenty beefy. I will add more pictures and any additional parts that I use in my build.
