Everythings here and It's started
Couple of Questions :
Am i correct in saying it needs a way short servo horn ? Milled one down just now
Will the stock wraith upper link mount have to be shaved off ?
What's everyone using for hingepins ?
Cheers
Jack

it depends on your driveshaft. i'm running the MIP shaft up front so my horn tip was super close and i shaved it down very slightly to be safe. i'm using the second hole. stock driveshaft should fit fine.

but with just a little tuning - it spins free with no binding

I was placing everything together with all the same parts you stated (same set up with MIP and vanquish ) when I go to mate the slash stubs into the vanquish hub the bearing outboard closest to the tire sticks out several mm. How can I fix this with shimming the inside of the hub?

I haven't cleared any room out for the mip bell yet without knowing.

Well it took me long enough to finish this build but it is finally done. IFS and twin shock trailing arms and a 3600kv short course motor on 3s powering it.

And of course, a series of pictures wouldn't be complete without...

After getting all the shocks tuned in and ride heights set, it now jumps like a champion and flys like an arrow. You sir, are a magician.

A little bit of powder coating never hurt anything.

Still trying to figure out the hubs with MIP shafts though.

the traxxas bellcrank is adjustable so you can gain clearance from the plate if needed and apparently the traxxas unit is not as close to the diff input either.

yours looks good but unfortunately you need the adjustability of the traxxas bellcrank. the only other option is if you want me to run some custom plates thru the process that will work with that bellcrank.

FYI we're making a MIP/locker conversion kit for the EXO diff based on a suggestion and specs provided by frdtrkguy. totally bolt-on. we do all the machine work and provide all the hardware. i'm just waiting on a batch of parts from MIP to complete the first few sets for testing.

we're also extremely close to having a working prototype of the SCX10 IFS using the ultra-common traxxas IFS. we chose the traxxas because its width matches the scx10.

Awesome news. If you need a tester/hot off the press/pre-order buyer, I'm your huckleberry!

Thanks BMRC, the locker is no problem. I am attempting to figure out how these fellas are fitting everything (my bearing hangs out about 2mm) inside the vanquish exo knuckles.

Your IFS kit is on point!
