Still have one full set left, more will be available later this week. I will also be including all needed hardware with each kit.

Thank you everyone for your orders!

Just curious what everyone thinks about pinion angle with these.

I put my rear set in last night. They were an awesome super tight fit. The stiffeners are great and line up perfectly.

I have the vanquish titanium links. When I put the uppers on the second (middle) hole it moves the pinion angle up quite a bit. This doesn't bother me from a basic operation standpoint as the pinion is now really out of the way.
My question is more around the pinion angle and torque application in regards to the anti squat. I'm not a suspension expert but I understand basic anti squat principles. Does the steeper pinion angle help, hurt, or have no impact?

I can easily get the pinion angle back to normal but will leave it a little higher if its not a big deal.

Thanks,
Dna

Because of the varying ride heights of everyones rigs, some will see a larger pinion angle change than others. Unless someone is running some really wonky length links, there shouldn't be any problems. Even then, lengthening the lower links just a hair, or shortening the uppers should take care of any issues. These were designed to cause that change, and to a lesser degree than the prototypes. As long as the driveshaft isn't binding (it would take a lot to make them do that) then things should be fine.

Clocking the axle around a few degrees will have minimal impact on geometry. There might be a little less vertical separation between the uppers and lowers, but not much.

Post a side shot of you rig, showing the pinion angle, if you get a chance.

Here is the pinion angle after installation.

I don't think it's too excessive but I might flip the lower link mounts on the axle to get some back. We'll see.

If you have some jato rod ends put them on the lowers and then trim the jatos down if it make the links too long.

That's a bit more angle than I'd prefer, but its not bad. Like Szczerba said...use the link lengths to bring it back down a tad.

I saw you working on that rig during a little bit of the live feed...didn't know what you were doing though. Now I know.

I know it, but there is already an established company that has the name. Sucky to have to change, but I would have had to sooner or later.

Very cool that you've stepped up to this level of part making!

I keep looking at those riser posts and I think that with a bit of "customizing" by the end user, these could be used at anti-squat link risers for the SCX-10 chassis.

I happy to be steppin'.

It might be possible. I'm going to be dusting off my Honcho soon to do some much needed repairs...you never know what else might happen.
