Great parts! I ran mine for a while at the U4 race. I could definitely tell that the front end was more planted, but I felt that my light rig lost too much rear traction on the twisty track.

The crawling improvement is huge though. They'll definitely be going back on for more tuning and the KOH G6.

Awesome, I've been waiting for a racer to speak up.

beefy... easy to install and they fit very snug in the mounts.

Sorry if this is a stupid question but what are these actually doing? Obviously moving the mounting spots of the links but for what purpose? I was recommended these to help keep my front end down on extreme incline crawling. Is there any sacrifice when installing these? Like suspension flex or anything?

It creates better geometry for the suspension. As stated above, might not be the best for a U4 rig but for scaling and trailing...good mod!

I do 100% crawling with my Wraith. The only actual trails would be driving to the crawl spot. Would this be a good mod then? Also, what settings would be recommended for crawling? I see most, from the pictures, just use the lowest setting. Also, could I get away with just half the kit to push the front end down?

ran my wraith I did the testing with at our U4RC races on breaks inbetween races.

Handled the course very well.
I could approach the obstacles at a higher speed and not worry about the front end bouncing up to bad as before.

Good piece for final tuning/setup.

Actual adjustment settings will be something you'll have to work out yourself. Every bodies truck and driving style is different.

You could always start with a half kit and buy the front risers later on if you decide you want them.

Unfortunately, I am completely out of stock of both the full and half kits, and don't expect to have more done for at least a couple weeks, maybe longer.

Supershafty.com has some full kits on hand.

A new batch is in the works! Hopefully I'll have them up for sale this weekend.

Production is boring, repetitive work. I thought I'd liven it up a little bit and snap some pics as they evolve from raw stock to finished part.

First: 4 foot sticks of 5/16x1" 6061 T6.

Chop them up into 4" chunks.

Square them up and cut them to size on the mill. On the left: raw. On the right: after fly cutting and deburring the edges.

Back to the bandsaw and chop them all up again into roughly 1 1/4" bits.

Cool to see how you make them.

Do you have a Post Oak in your garage?

You just made my weekend better. Here I was bummed when Supershafty.com ran out and I didn't leave with one from Rick's shop then.

I can't wait to order my set.

I'm running a bit behind...Wednesday I jumped right on the machine after work, and it wasn't until I drilled a hole in every single part that I realized that it was in the wrong place.

Luckily I was able to just flip them around and redrill in the proper spot. The extra hole will be in the corner of the blocks that get cut off so all it cost me was some time.

I hope to be on schedule to ship orders on Monday.

More pics of the process will be up soon...I haven't had time to upload them.

Once the blanks are squared up and trimmed to size, they get two corners rounded off...one on top and one on bottom.

Notches are cut to fit them onto the skid.

Then come the holes. 69 blanks x 4 holes + the one hole I goofed on.

Next up are the contours on the side.

Only two procedures left, then its on to making the braces.
